Perisher is Australia's largest ski resort and encompasses four interconnected areas – Perisher Valley, Smiggin Holes, Guthega and Blue Cow – with a total of 47 lifts and over 1,200 hectares of terrain. The skiing ranges between 1,720 and 2,177.2 feet and offers enormous variety.
Perisher is suitable for almost all types of riders. Beginners have plenty of wide slopes to start on, intermediate skiers can explore miles of slopes, and advanced skiers will find both steeper terrain and extensive parks. The resort's snow parks are among the best in the southern hemisphere and attract national teams during training periods.
Accommodation and services are spread across the different districts, with hotels, apartments, restaurants and bars. The atmosphere is lively and international, and the variety makes Perisher work just as well for families as it does for serious park riders and long-distance travelers.
