It is not acceptable to charge full price for a ski pass when less than a third of the facility's capacity is open. You pay as if everything were in operation, but in reality you get a severely limited experience.
As if that weren't enough, there is also a pure tourist penalty in the form of a parking fee - SEK 25 per hour. This quickly becomes very expensive, especially for families with children or day visitors. Parking should be included or at least reasonably priced when you already pay full price for a lift pass.
The overall impression is that you as a visitor do not get value for money, but rather feel milked on extra fees. Unfortunately, this means that the experience is greatly reduced, even though the skiing itself could have been better under fairer conditions.

A wish that there would be a map of the ski trails in Sälen. Not easy to google and find the right one. The big disadvantage is that there is no access to easy ski trails where you can avoid hilly terrain. Ski from Högfjällshotell towards Tandådalen east, great ski tracks at the beginning but the last kilometer steep slopes. There you can wonder why they did not make a ski track below which would have made it easier for us who have various problems that can not go on these slopes.

The seal is incredibly overrated!

Sälen is an incredibly overrated ski system. Here is a list of negative things:

Lindvallen has very bad variation on slopes. They are all next to each other and go down for the same conclusion. They have the same slope through the entire hill, no one who, for example, starts steeply, then comes a flat speed section, then it has a few serpentine turns… you get it.
-Isiga slopes
-Copy many on the slopes, mostly beginners
-Short slopes, most are over before you even get up to speed.
-Long lift queues
- Poor restaurant food

All this bad I mean: Lindvallen, Hundfjället, Tandådalen, Högfjället and kläppen. The only place that was good was the bump that had good variety on the slopes and there were not too many people

Disappointed / Lisa and Micke

Pretty bad:

Cons:

-Long queues
-JÄTTEKORTA !!!! backing
-Many beginners
-Not good resturanger
-Get some slopes
- All slopes look almost the same
-All slopes lead to the same place
-Dangerous lifts

advantages:
-A beginner has some place to go
-That people from southern Sweden do not have to go so far
