I've been to Sälen how many times, go there several times a year.

Lindvallen:
Here are the most families with children, and I understand them. The slopes are further difficult and for us who want to get out more of the skiing.
Here is Snögubbeland where the children can go around.
Gustavexpress is called the big chairlifter, twice I've got caught in it, in c. An hour.

Tandådalen:
Here are fun slopes, especially on the backside. But on the backside it is not open so much at the start of the season. Tandådalen has a transport link between them and .....

Hundfjället:
It was in the ski school in Hundfjället I learned how to ski, also family-friendly. However, there are many more fun hikes for us advanced skiers here one in Lindvallen.
The favorite is the wall 45% slope, a sunny morning when it's nypsy city, mum!
Here, also, the troll forest, just like Snögubbeborg, is finer because the troll is made of wood.
The top cabin is Lycktan and is the nicest in Sälen.

Yes, there was little about Sälen but do not forget:

Practice in Sälen Åk.

Located well in the middle of Sweden easy to get there. The slopes are quite good, though quite boring, because most are parallel. Fun for families with children and beginners.

Be here in Sälen now the easterlove with a little polar and I had quite high expectations, however, because I was in the seal relatively much when I was less and remembered that much bigger.

Now with a few more years on my neck I noticed that it was not as big and it did not take so far to get down through the different slopes.

We lived in the lindvallen in a cabin and went around in the different "Topparna".

Lindvallen.

We went to Lindvallen one day and it was enough to me. We strolled through the entire liftsystem to get to the "funpark". When we got there we became very disappointed. Bad hope and no kicking before the rails.

However, we had fun fun in the lifts and evening sunsets in the gustavsbacken. I would recommend Lindvallen for families with children because there is plenty and the slopes are not difficult.

Tandådalen.

Like Lindvallen, we stayed for just one day, while the difference from Lindvallen was that I would have preferred to stay longer. We went to the park all day and I was very pleased to see the park was progressing in good condition like this at the end of the season. There were rails in lots ranging from c-boxes to rainbow rails. Hoppen was where I was a bit dissatisfied with because I'm a mean good rider, there was no jump for me. It was probably 2 meters later, it jumps to 20 meters jump. I would recommend Tandådalen to beginners jibs to the experienced.

I'm not so bad at skiing, I only go for a week a year so I'm just glad I'm going to snowboard.
the seal is good i like the seal It is not that far from Stockholm and there is quite a lot of variation of the slopes and there are good funparks.
I have gone to the seal every year since I was a baby so the seal for teh win.

I do not understand why you criticize the seal. Are you just looking for jibba. Knowing it's fun to jibba but I do not go there for jibbing. I'm going there because it's fun to go on the various slopes.

Have been to Sälen one week each year for almost 15 years and just have to say that the furthest away in Lindvallen, Pernilla and Adam, is by far the best ... Short liftköer and the best slopes ..

Sälen has been visited many times and it has both its pros and cons.
The benefits are well that it is not so far away .. (depending on where you live of course)
Everything is there .. (even McDonald's)
Adapted to all ... or most, anyway.
After ski ..
disadvantages:
Incredibly many people.
Lift lines.
Raised slopes.
If you want a little gem, you can actually go to Högfjället. There are not many that go there and you can find large "unspoiled" areas on the right side of the mountain .. (seen from below) A little flat maybe .. but pretty ok.

I'm in the seal every season, have season's cards in Tandådalen. Tandådalen: lovely parks and varied slopes. Hundfjället: long beautiful slopes and good offpiste slopes. Högfjälls hotel: a little few backs but a cool ravine.
Lindvallen: The slopes are quite similar to each other and no lovely parks.
I definitely recommend the TANDÅDALEN because it is a great place for beginners and for runners.

Sälen is really good!
Have been there 13 times.
Have traveled in all 4 locations Lindvallen / Högfjället Tandådalen / Hundfjället I can recomend this place to people who are not beginners or not so badly.
There are all kinds of slopes.
Good service is not possible to complain about in Sälen.
Visit the top cabin.
