Saltisbacken

Ski resorts in Sweden
In the heart of Saltsjöbaden, surrounded by large villas, we find Saltisbacken. From its highest point, a unique view of the archipelago is offered. Since the end of the 19th century, winter sports such as tobogganing and ski jumping have been practiced here. It was not until 1976 that downhill slalom skiing was introduced, organized by the Saltsjöbaden Slalom Club.
The slope's drop height extends over 60 meters, and it offers two descents: the Slalom slope, marked in red and slightly steeper, and the less steep Familjebacken, which is marked in blue. In favorable weather conditions, skiers can also enjoy skiing out on the frozen lake.

In Familjebacken you will find Saltis Snowpark, equipped with challenging jumps, rails, boxes and tubes. To cater for both beginners and experienced park riders, there are different riding routes in the park. For those interested in practicing park riding, try-on training sessions are offered every Sunday. A versatile skiing experience suitable for all skill levels and ages.
