Stranda

Ski resorts in Norway
Known as "Powder Paradise", Stranda is one of Scandinavia's most popular ski resorts for off-piste skiing and is located in the beautiful Sunnmøre Alps on the west coast of Norway. Strandafjellet Ski Center is a snow-sure area that receives large amounts of snow from northwesterly winds, making it a great choice for snow lovers. The ski area is known for its fantastic freeride opportunities, with one of Scandinavia's best off-piste areas, attracting experienced skiers from all over the world.
The resort also offers something for the whole family, with well-groomed slopes, a children's area and an off-road park for snowboarders and freestylers. With a total of 18 slopes and 7 lifts, including a gondola, there's plenty of space for all levels of skiers to explore.

For cross-country skiers, there are 14,6 miles of cross-country trails that offer stunning views and challenges. For those who want to take a break between runs, there are several restaurants and an ice skating rink to enjoy. Strandafjellet has also invested in large snow systems that ensure an early start to each season, ensuring that snow is guaranteed from early winter to late spring.

Stranda is a perfect place for both off-piste enthusiasts and families who are looking for a skiing experience in a fantastic nature with lots of snow and activities for everyone.
