What do you think about Whistler Blackcomb?
Whistler is heavenly on earth !! Not because I have any experience with the Alps .. And after all, I was just up to the top 2 times ... But anyway! The people are wonderful there and the skies divine ...!
The only obvious reason that it does not get a 5a is the prices !!!! How in H * LVETE can you take 1600CAD for a season's card? !!! And 63CAD for day passes ... Unreasonable prices!
MEEN, in the long run, the mountain wins! Go there! I'll ... again and again and nobody and again ..... and a few more times :)

Yes, they are well worth the price.
I went there quite a while ago actually. There was a lot of snow on those last days and kidding off piste. They had everything. They had a jump park, puckelpist (most natural ground but if you want to train the puck you should go there), off piste, 200 downhill runs and lots of other things. It was a bit half-timed but they gotta stand me out. We stayed at a hotel called Pinnacle International hotel. They had two outdoor pools and hot tub in the room. Not quite wrong. Certainly you had to walk through some of the city but they were worth it. It only took 5 minutes. In any case, I had a great trip, except that they were a VERY long trip with three stopovers so they took us over 12 hours but they were on a direct trip.

Certainly the best place I've been to skiing holiday. Pudersnön in Whistler can not be compared to Europe's snow. A must-have is that a morron pay a little extra to get the "first track" so go up a bit earlier. have it snowed the night before so that it is 2 decimeter cushions that's happiness made! I have been there 4 years in a row now and I have always experienced the weather is quite ok. Some days you can go in t-shirt. Sure, the village may seem a bit plastic but if you are young and want fun it's perfect. always lovely atmosphere and after skiing you can slide directly into a bar or sit and relax in a cafe. to be there when it's big jumping competition is not entirely wrong ... Americans CAN go skiing!

Having lived for 3 years in Vancouve said this is my ski home. Wonderful stable baths summer and winter. Get up early and follow the old raves to find the best offpiste. Also come in September for hiking and mountain bike. A long to rent privately:

Otherwise, it is expensive to live as most of the hassle is unnecessary hog standard. Tip if you want to do the season, stay in Narbelagna Pemberton and get a car. It takes about 2 hours from Vancouver as well.

Was there the summer 99.
Since I was born in the incredibly beautiful Vancouver, I had to go back there to check the location !. I took the time to go to whistler because it is a must. I bought a board .. and got up with the elevator. The first half of the mountain was completely snowy, but when they got to the top they were snowing so it was good at the end of July that is !. I went all day and liked it hard, can hardly carry me until yes, there's a winter! The village is very cozy but it is a bit "plastic".

just the world's best ski resort !!! the most beautiful slopes and that all the people are so friendly is just an advantage, a little different from Austria.

Was there Jan-May-97. Based on the season I had, with pudersnö almost every day, I think whistler is the absolute best place I've been to, and then I've been around a hero in both europe and usa. There is unbelievably good backcountry, but then it's the disadvantage if you only come across for a couple of days or weeks, so it's hard to know where it's good for the day. I lived with several Americans and Canadians who lived in Whistler for several years so I could hang them to their "own" places. Otherwise it may be difficult to get out of locals where it is good to go. The downside of whistler is that it's too "modern", ie the whole village is no more than a decade old. So it lacks the genuine "alp feeling" and it is very expensive to live there. But the snowboarding itself was quite a cannon.
