Have been there and can only agree ... Brilliant place. Since it is very close to Vancouver, which is one of the world's best cities, it does not matter.

Relatively steep long runs. great variety.
      Not so many as go uphill in the slopes like in
T.eks "Cham". Not as forbidden to have fun as in U.S.A.
Nice personnel in lifts o.d. Always a lot of snow.
Negative: Tired city "tourist machine". seldom blue sky.

Based on three winter stays. (Two in summer)

Had a trip there during their best season of 20 years (the locals own words. Extremely snowy, first-class forest soak.) Large "bowls" everywhere, making the outpost almost unmatched and overall very good. Whistler / Blackomb should be visited during the weeks 5 -10 to come when it's snowing. During my time I was there, it was snowing for 2 weeks, DYGNET RUNT! I think it will be difficult for most resorts. Cheaper to live there than in Sweden, and that Canada's service is a honor Can be very cold there and the sun is almost never seen, but as I say close to the coast, it almost snowes. Can really recommend the place.
