Champoluc reviews (Page 6)

Have been there twice and enjoyed it wonderfully there. The first time was the winter 98 and then we were extremely lucky with the snow. It turned down when we came down and we got about 0.5m in one night. I had the day after the snowfall the best skiing in my life. Small people with endless surfaces with untouched snow. The second time I was there was winter 00 and then it was bad with snow (sun all week), but all the slopes in the system were open (with plenty of snow in them) and it was cruising in them all week. However, they are not steep slopes but quite OK to smear in.
However, there were loose snow in the north slopes of Gressonay and on a few slopes in Champoluc (got a lot of knalla) and it had not been snowing for 2 weeks !!
The village itself is small but cozy, looking for nightlife, do not go here because nothing happens in the evenings here.

Incredibly beautiful city and nice people but I was there January 99-, and so little snow had apparently not been there for 15 years, but unfortunately, the weather's powers do not matter. by the way, I think it was a great place to travel to, and I'll give it a chance in the future.
