Fendels

Ski resorts in Austria
Fendels is located at the entrance to the Kaunertal Valley in the Tyrolean Oberland and is a small, easy-to-navigate ski area that’s especially well-suited for families and for anyone who wants a calmer, stress-free day on the slopes. The skiing is set between 4,347 and 7,451 feet, which often delivers a true winter feel even when it’s milder down in the valley.
The area offers about 9 miles of slopes and 6 lifts, giving you a compact system where it’s quick to find your way around and rack up plenty of runs in a day. The terrain clearly caters to beginners and intermediate skiers, with gentle slopes that are still varied enough to keep things interesting.

Fendels also has several features that can make a big difference for a family day out. There’s a dedicated kids’ area, Kinderland BIBI-Land, and beyond skiing there’s a 2.8-mile natural toboggan run. If you want to mix up your time on the mountain, there’s also a ski touring park.
