Grand Geneva

Grand Geneva, often referred to as The Mountain Top, is located just off Lake Geneva in southern Wisconsin and is one of the region's more established ski areas. Thanks to its proximity to both Chicago and Milwaukee, it is a common choice for day trips and shorter ski trips, rather than long ski vacations.

The ski area offers about twenty slopes with varying slopes and a lift system that is adapted for smooth skiing even under high loads. There are both chairlifts and conveyor belts, which makes the facility easy to understand and efficient. A well-developed snow system means that skiing can often be kept going even during periods of limited natural rainfall.

The Mountain Top also has an off-road park that takes up a clear part of the ski area and night skiing is an important part of the offer, especially for local skiers. The facility is built for organized skiing with group bookings, lessons and club activities, which characterizes both the pace and the atmosphere on the slopes.

In addition to downhill skiing, there are opportunities for sledding, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the area around Lake Geneva, making Grand Geneva a winter destination with breadth rather than focus on individual disciplines.
