Hedeland Skicenter

Hedeland Ski Center, located south of Hedehusene, is Denmark's largest alpine ski resort. The slope is located in the nature and outdoor area of Hedeland and offers a complete experience for those who want to ski near Copenhagen.

Built in the 1980s, the facility has three lifts – two main lifts and one children's lift – with a total capacity of around 1,800 people per hour. The drop is 147.6 feet and the longest slope measures 925.2 feet. Four snow cannons ensure skiing even in milder weather, and in the evenings the entire slope is illuminated.

On the left there is a smaller snow park with jumps and rails, while the children's area on the right offers easier terrain for beginners. For those who want to develop their technique, there is also a ski school. Adjacent to the slope is a clubhouse with a café and warming hut where visitors can buy food or bring their own coffee.

Tobogganing is not allowed on the ski slopes, but a special area by the children's lift is reserved for sledding.

Hedeland Skicenter is a popular destination for Danes who want to try alpine skiing without leaving Zealand.
