Slettegårds Skibakke

Ski resorts in Denmark
Just outside Gudhjem on Bornholm is Slettegårds Skibakke – an unusual sight in Denmark and a popular meeting place for the island's skiers. The slope is located at an altitude of 377.3 feet and offers a magnificent view of the Baltic Sea and Christiansø.
The resort has three slopes: a smooth blue forest slope, a red slope with a steeper section and an easy beginner's slope with its own lift. The longest slope measures about 820.2 feet, which makes Slettegård a small but well-developed facility with variety.

The driveway is done with Denmark's first alpine disc lift, imported from Austria, and slopes are prepared with a piste machine when the snow allows. Snow cannons ensure that the season can be extended during cold periods.

For beginners and children, there is the possibility of a ski school, and equipment can be rented directly on site. At the foot of the slope is a ski hut where you can warm up or take a break between runs. The facility also arranges special days for schools, groups and companies.

Slettegårds Skibakke may be small in size, but it offers a genuine and unusual skiing experience on Danish soil – with both views and atmosphere that are hard to find anywhere else.
