Klimpfjäll

Ski resorts in Sweden
About 800 km from Stockholm, right next to the Norwegian border and Jämtland, lies Klimpfjäll. The vertical drop here is 200 meters. The best part? You avoid boring queues. The two lifts, Sydliften and Norrliften, take up 1,900 skiers per hour, so you don't have to wait. If you like cross-country skiing, you can have a lot of fun in Klimpfjäll. The ski resort has well-prepared illuminated trails of 2.3 kilometers and longer trails of 6 and 10 kilometers. There are opportunities for both freestyle and classic skiing.
Klimpfjäll is a nice ski resort for those traveling with the family. The mountain is not excessively large, but the slopes are all of high quality. With 15 slopes of varying difficulty, there are plenty of slopes to discover over several days. The ski resort is in a development phase and a lot of exciting things await the future. Among other things, there are plans for more off-piste and freeskiing by carrying out an extensive forest clearing project. The forests have been given humorous names such as "Japan" and "Transylvania".
