What is Ramunberget doing?
Today, January 15, after 2 days of rain and snowstorm, they manage to open 1 lift for the first hours even though it is windless. The area around Skarsliften is getting worse and worse managed year after year. Shitty piste where it's done. The information board in guest service tells about what will happen this Christmas. All tow lifts have a number of broken anchors after the whole area was closed for 2 days, no time to change them ?. Yesterday, those who tried to have fun on the slopes were rejected because it was closed. Today it was said that Osthang was closed due to avalanche danger, but then is it ok for seasoners to go there?
Has the management completely lost interest in the facility or how to understand the situation?

Everything is great. Superb service. Even better piste. The best off-piste in the whole country after the national border. There is nothing better. Come here.
5/5 it's the best i've ever ridden.

Really like this place and the lift pass also applies to Funäs / Tänndalen. Depending on how the wind is on, you can move on o find nice riding.
Would only have had with the ski slopes also o could change but it settled on the rental at good price.
Very varied riding between places :)

Good selection on slopes. We were there one day when it was very windy so many lifts were closed in the morning. But they worked intensively to try to open the seat lifts as soon as possible (while other ski areas had many lifts closed all day). Very good service for the people standing in the lifts too - we had 1 small beginner with us who got good help in the small hills and could then follow up on the big slopes.

Families with children avoid Ramundberget. Have been here two days and are really disappointed in comparison with eg Sälen or Idre. Very few child-friendly slopes, bad signs and some errors on the piste maps. Expect to have to queue for 30-45 minutes every time you have lunch for high prices and moderate portions. Non-existent logistics and service spirit. The lifts close due to strong winds ... which is not a fault of the plant .... but our experience is that it is switched off at fairly low winds due to old systems. Then there is typically only one alternative lift with jumper with huge queues and almost no ride time left. No logistics to maximize so that as many people as possible go with neither seat lifts nor seat lifts. The descriptions on the homepage of the knowledge levels in the ski school and what they are actually allowed to do are not correct. Expect at least one level higher. Don't reasonably pay the amounts we pay just because the lift card works in other systems a good distance from here. In that case, you should offer a lower price for only Ramundberget and another price for those who want to go in several systems. Not worth the money. Never again the Ramund Mountain.

We started going to Funäsdalen in 2007 and discovered Ramundberget in 2014 with then 2-year-old son on skis on lillramis. The son who is now 7 years old and little sister 3 years is waiting for the winter and the new apartment in Ramundberget. Despite 80 miles, it will now be Christmas, New Year, sports holidays, Easter holidays and some weekends. I go on the slopes with the children during the day and in the long track at night. The wife skips the slopes.
