1st year I'm writing for the new season 2006 have been in cham big parts of the last 10 winters, have been in large parts of the alpine as I mostly only ski in the winter, cham e thinks that the place in europe can not speak me about south america canada o nepal for have never been there but many friends from Canada who attend to cham every year, things matter a lot:) season without transportation in cham e said i did not say thought you said you're having problems with the transportation to a system that is not built-up, which I think is an advantage when said areas are becoming a little bit of a response that it gives you / you who can work a bit to find a bit more shovel scratches a bit extra, big plus to let o find a good fallhojd Ah, I just said you're lifting 2 lifts, you said either 3800 or 3300 meters o unusually mk choices to take for the good-looking yard with local cunning. incredibly ridiculous offpiste in the shawl systems, it's a good idea that there are many good things about others when it comes to sneezing, but it's often incredibly good offpiste if it's not new, because of north side G.Mon. Yes, I usually say that most of the stables will be gathered after you've been in for a while or just as well. I will not talk back after you. But Cham will only get better after the more time you spend. Just mend the story of a guy in a straw town who did a season in cham without doing a really good thing, maybe try to shrug yourself in that case, for bigger professionals (I'm not talking about me, I've found amazing cham, maybe their best of life) have been a lot in st. anton oxa what a can not do if i think cham has a little more o ge :) you who have been in cham give it more chances i promise it will usually pay for the good and the inexperienced man who i like to think It's totally unbeatable.
Have a good skiing season 06.

Did the 2001-2002 season in chamonix. Unfortunately one of the worst snowmobiles so the ride could have been better many weeks but the whole experience could not have been better.
got a pair of gunboats on the aguilla and actually one of the best towards the end of the season, despite the glacier cracking coming out (and an Austrian managed to fall down).
got tired of the ski system at the end when much closed and almost only the grand montet was apparent. is an advantage of car because all the time spent on the buses between the ski systems can be better spent on the slope.
The village is very nice and cozy, I recommend staying somewhere else than chamonix south so it will not just hang out with Swedes. The same goes for the south bar, take afterskin on chambre neuf instead and finish the evening at the rues des moulins.

Hey!

Be in the Chamonix sport promise -04 and found this alp (city) absolutely wonderful. The weather was the cannon all week but it was not the perfect trip. Neither were all the wonderful people there or they were beautiful exhibits for that matter. Of course, it is the ski itself that makes your trip to Europe's best ski resort. Here there were pistes for the inexperienced rider to the best, even off-pists clearly.

My favorite lift system was undoubtedly the "Grand Monte", where the slopes were simply perfect. But the best ride in that system was obviously when you left the cabin right up to the terminal, awesome!

Aja, do not understand why some have given Chamonix so box ratings. For me it's still the best place I've been to.
except perhaps Gustavsbergsbacken on the frozen island, Östersund. It's just the best! (hehe, hope be pretty last year)

Were in Chamonix v.13 on Easter eve. (my first alpresa).
Does the place seem to be crazy! They were a bit like weather but in the middle of the week there was more snow and then the sun came. But the most beautiful was spring down in the village and winter in the slopes. recommend to go to Grand Montana's offpiste ride. The city is quite big and they can be found on lots of things.
The lift queues were much smaller than I thought. They were only in the morning when everyone got up into the system as they get crowded. The worst thing was that the buses were completely creaky when traveling somewhere and the bus drivers were crazy. There were many good resturants and you were kidding some pork but they were expensive. Aja back to the skiing when they are new, it is recommended to take the first bus and take the cabin up and go down the black bakers. I did not like the pistons, I was very hot in the morning and totally harvested at the end of the day, with great caution for stones on the hill!

What to say??? Be here over new year 04/05 ... Kasst weather for the first three days ... sight of around 50m and snowy snowfall ... Which of course was boring ... But luck was that there was some snow because there was a snow shortage in the lodge .. When it broke up then the views are worth the montblanc massacre. But the skiing in the system was safe in most places with rocks on the slopes. Only place where the snow sat down was the le tour. Otherwise quite untrue. offpiste there are huge areas but snow conditions were not the right ones and I chose to save the skis ... That after type 1 day all the surfaces of the mountains around were uphill despite the bad snowfall, it shows enough that chamonix is not the right place to be on if you want to sneak off ... The outdated lift system also makes no man happy ... But worth a visit if nothing else for powerful mount blanc.

Seasonal in Chamonix 04. The city is a great place to season !! It's nice that the village is as big as it is because you spend a lot of time there for a whole season. Good selection of bars and nightlife. The ride is very varied !! ranging from light "family areas" to devilish steep offpiste ..... With the help of hippos, I managed to find new places to go last week I was there after just over 4 months. Opportunities are many !!! People are also many, as one always hears ... but there is so much good riding if you are looking a bit and doing some hikes or snowmobile hiking that it is a place to return to !!!! Raised during my season ending in a avalanche in Grand Montet. A really unpleasant experience that I would like to avoid "testing" again .... one should pay attention to weather reports and hear a little before testing the mountain .... Aguille du midi is also a great experience, where you can find fun ride among the giant glacier cracks. You should also go with great care and have the right equipment !!! saw a rescue mission to bring up a person who has landed many meters down in one of the glacier cracks .... scary worse .... Aftershin at Chambre is iaf. encouraging when coming down to the village again !!!

Lovely town with lots of ski slopes and restaurants. The fact that it is the city's number one is really noticed, people from all parts of the world. So it's pretty nice to just stroll around and check out all the people.

The ride is very good with a large lift system. Unfortunately, when I was there, I did not snow for two weeks, so all the pudersnö had already been raised. Because it is such a big place, it will soon be discovered, unfortunately.

Afterglow on chambre 9 held world class, a lot of people, crowded and full damn island on the band.

I really recommend chamonix if you are looking for good nightlife and pistachio. For those who are looking for "real" driving and a little more compassion, choose another place.

A misguided valley!
How can system owners misunderstand a system that they do in the Chamonix Valley without the tourists caring. Certainly, Chamonix is one of the Alps' classic and historical sites with many stories. But why do not they invest little in lifts, etc.? Have not seen a "wagon park" as bad as the one in the Chamonix valley, compare the one in ex-Val d'Isere, they have had narrow passages, but have been picked out for a couple of years in favor of new, highly efficient lifts.
They should also work to reduce bus travel in the valley. Make sure more people come in direct contact with lifts without mass bus tours with crazy bus drivers. Last year's record to Argentier-Camonix and back was well in 15 minutes.

The resort has potential despite the fact that skiing starts low and drizzle can occur several days in a row, v3 2004. Developing the resort, I raise my score.

Easily the alps most overrated ski resort! Here you will find the highest concentration of liquor album in the Alpine world! The proportion of serious riders varies depending on how much they have drunk than before. Awesome party at South Bar! Do not miss!!!!!
If you want to go, you should be aware that it takes half an eternity to get to the slope. Have you got there after being in a bus queue with everyone else who wants to go to bed? So wait at least an hour to queue to get up at grand montets All this in order to get 1 yard (japp 1 yard) in untouched snow, after this yard you can easily put yourself in the same queue again and go to what is now the total predicted snowmobile! If you want to go there are endless possibilities, but understand that you should have knowledge and not give yourself! Chamonix is dangerous for the inexperienced but incredible reward for the talented, I have heard ..... After spending a total of 5 months in Cham. I can honestly say that even though I have tried so far, I have not had one good trip so far! The ones I went with have been completely lyrical but the sum of the cardemumman is that what matters as good in Cham. is substandard in eg. St.Anton ......
Rating: Try something else!

Come home from Chamonix on Sunday. Had a wonderful week there, great weather, wonderful slopes (although they are a little bit snowy) go after skiing with awesome live bands at the south bar and a little festive on it. Chamonix has ALL and some more. Did not go very much offpist but there it's going to be super good assa ... It's very good to take the ski bus even though drivers sometimes run as fools that the buses are full ... Very Swedish but they just guessed. Les Grand Montets became our favorite but for good-looking good skiers there is something for everyone !! Go there !!
