What do you think about Chamonix?

Loosers corner Chamo-X. The only jubilee with the cursed bunch hole is that if you've been there you can be delighted to get away from there.

Certainly there are nice steamers on the spot - hope these excuses me now - for the vast majority of snowboarders who think it's a matter of scratching, dirting down and crowding the mountain draws the score in this place to far below zero. In short, a total scene and it is surprising that there are still so many jubilees - from Sweden in addition - who to the slightest extent lack the recognition that they take their hard-earned taxed steel and spend them in Chamo-X?!?! Amazingly, the word is missed. Probably the same people appreciate long queues on the system, in rush traffic and at CSN at home. Those who do not have any kind of personality and suffer a degree of fear to make their own decision and stand for it.

On the other hand, it's nice that humankind's rubbish goes to Cham - I do not have to run on them all too often.

Almost too good to be true. But as everyone knows, nothing is perfect "almost". Wonderful snow, unparalleled offpiste trips in high mountains but ...... But but all these thousands of people will be everywhere and, above all, they're out of the way. In the lifts of the mountain and in the apartments;) you are forced to go further out on the mountains to get yourself. But Chamonix is always Chamonix.

The first time in the Alps, the first time in Chamonix and it was wonderful. Went with UCPA (which is top notch). When we got there the snow had started melting down and there was bar land in the valley (v.16), but then it started snowing. The sun did not stack much but it was snowing all the time. At the end of the week (the whole week) the guide showed us the most wonderful pillows you can find, even the wizard missing words. The only problem after the trip is that the Swedish mountains have felt so feeble. Why waste money on a ski pass in Sälen when you can go to Chamonix and pump pads. Will 5 crossed skis be scored

It may be appropriate to point out that the billy baskets guide to "pas de chevre" is a little dangerous ..... A little right means "DO NOT RIGHT RIGHT" ie if you do not want to drop into the rectal, ie a narrow steep corridor that can be wonderful (if there's snow in it), but I've made the mistake of jumping into it when there were a few hundred drops of glitter .....
By the way, it's a good tip. Safety first!

Were in Chamonix Easter -97 and can say I was quite impressed. I was only 15 years old and it was my first and best alpresa. The possibilities for cruising skiing are almost limited (in addition to a number of 500m cliff walls!). Mountains are steeper and higher than ngn elsewhere in the Alps.
Go here if you want to develop yourself as a skier. I know I did it anyway.

In fact, I've been traveling with STS Travel with the following facts happening:

- de vlucht naar Genève kreeg een vertraging van 13 uur (in plaats van
 14.50 the 010317 we left at 03.30 the 010318)
+ STS travel paid back 1/7 of the cost of the trip
+ all people were guested at Eurostop Hotel in Arlanda with
Dinner before the departure of 010318.

- The Hotel "Le Touring" in Chamonix claimed to be a **, but
it was less than a * I would say. In feite the bath / shower did not work at our arrival, and although we mention the problem, the english staff of the hotel simply neglect the problem.

The quality of food was quite poor in more than 1 occasion: one dinner we got 3 shrimps + salad !! All the lunches were made by: 1/2 baguette with some cheese OR a slice of ham + a coke + a small chockolate bar!

- The restaurant could not handle all the people who had paid in advance to have dinner.
arrangements, we did not receive any help ... instead we got a real proof of HOW UNPROFESSIONAL was the "le Touring" staff and open a discussion. At the end we decided to go out and eat in another restaurant ... some real french food.

- Another day the same episode occured to a couple
or guys. The STS Resor guy without even asking the 3 of us, just took forks, knife and plate and fix it on our table (with the clear intention to fix 2 places for the 2 guys at our table).
in which the STS Travel guy was unprofessionally solving the
strange situation.

- The last day we did not have any electricity in the room sockets.

- One girl of the staff, while serving pretended not to understand the english spoken by a friend of mine.

- The service on the table was efficient but rude.

I reccomend you all to avoid "Le touring" hotel!

The poets' paradise.
Do you want to be king in Cham? Easily: take your fat layers and crooked rods and place them outside Chambre Neuf, bump into and remove the backrest + your other cross guard and helmet and place them on the table. NOTE! keep the harness on with all the screws and all else rubbish left. Now it starts to work hard, cling to the bock of the chin and order bira after bira. At the same time, you are baffling your strains. Words that you absolutely must not miss: D-Spin, Couloir, Fat-skis, Backflip, Grease, Clean and so on. When you feel well packed you go home to Sud and change to the adventure of the night, do not forget about T-shirt with attitude motif (like hard rock or something that makes you look greyed out) and the bean. Then just go to Bar Des Moulins and continue the curling and hatching until closing day. CLEAR!!!
