Fjätervålen

Ski resorts in Sweden
In the middle of Sweden, about an hour from the Norwegian border, you will find Fjätervålen. The ski resort is a decent size with 18 slopes, a longest run of 3,000 m and a maximum vertical drop of 317 m. You only have four lifts to choose from, but these are more than enough to get you up the long slope. The fact that the ski resort is not so large is in many ways an advantage. The slopes are rarely too crowded, the slopes are well taken care of and the lifts rarely have any queues.
Whether you consider yourself to belong to the skiing elite or just want to be able to enjoy some simple and wonderful skiing, this is a place for you. Some of the slopes are used for competitions, which means that many elite skiers come here both to compete and to train. Quite simply, a small ski resort with a lot of heart.
