Kiroro

Kiroro is a small ski resort that may have its best feature in the fantastic top tour possibilities ... if one now disregards the huge amounts of snow that falls over this place! Kiroro often gets more and more dump than his more famous neighbor Niseko! Certainly this is a small place with a small drop height but there are also good and fun off-piste lifts to warm up / drive directly in the morning but as I said, I have to highlight the terrain around this small place, where it is anything but small. As mentioned, there are lots of different and very good areas to develop their hides to explore both bigger and steeper rides. The easiest way is to get some of these from the top of the gondola with about 15-30min up the backs that you see on the right side when you are sitting in the gondola (direction of travel?). There are also some tours that start directly below the facility, where you reach some of my favorite trails. One day in this area and you don't even have to buy a ski pass, but you have to work a little on the hides .... Don't forget to notify the resort / mountain guide the club of where to go. If a rather complicated system they have, additional areas in the vicinity of the lifts cost extra money to be driven where you solve the ticket that must be visible with the controller at the street.
In short: A fantastic little pillow hole that in my eyes clearly offers the best riding if you put on the hides and look up the pristine, steeper, deeper and bigger rides for your own machine! Enjoy!

Snowing how much there in January. Fairly flat rake and quite short runs all over. But what does it do when it hurts and the rest of Hokkaido has snow-cure. A little tricky with the lockouts outside the slopes and that you have to sign up for the offpiste every morning in the local mountain club.
