I have been in Mayerhofen for 5 years (but not all seasons) .... The thing with the whole valley Zillertahl is that the lift pass is valid as a bus card and on the train so that you can go to all ski slopes in the valley which is a part of the ...
 
A favorite is hochfügen king, little queues and very easily accessible offpiste. Mayerhofen has during the seasons I always had a really oily and good park that beat the standard in Sweden. Many sponsored riders are hanging there when the sun is peeking out.
 
Last we were in zillertalh 2 weeks -february 06. We had nice days in the park and fed new snowdogs on the mountains. Just going to the Mayerhofen for the sake of the sake is probably nothing I would do if it were not for the park. But there should be slopes where people seem like blazing brags with one of Austria's steepest groomed slopes, not so brilliant but hard and raining by all Dutch trainers destroying skiing pleasure for others.
 But, as mentioned earlier, the lift queues are a problem. Just to know where to go, for example, to the pine trees that have alternative roads and a few smaller people. We do not even live in the Mayerhof but in a city further away as we can get room for almost half the money.
Otherwise, I just say that Zillertalh Rocks.

The first thing to mention is that if you go to Mayrhofen you can not be impatient. In the morning everyone is forced to take the same lift to get up to the ski system. This sex is unbearable, it takes at least half an hour if you get there just after opening. The same lift everyone has to take to get home, you can not ski down to the village
   But well, the queues are not that big, unfortunately, there is not much to choose from, the system is limited.
   On the other hand, the ski pass is enough for a neighboring town where the skiing is a little higher and you can go down to the village in a piste called Stefan Eberharter Goldpiste. Incredibly beautiful red / black pist.
  This village is definitely worth a visit as you go to Mayrhofen.

I was pleasantly surprised with the Mayrhofen.

Had a wonderful day on my skis.
But when we got there in the morning, there was not even a pistachio in the area. There was snow that was frozen for the night.

It's really bad style.

I do not know if I just had the bad luck getting the wrong day.
There was nothing wrong with the area itself. There were good slopes for all tastes.

But I will return to see if my assessment can be updated for the better.

I have been to Mayrhofen week 9.
and I was very pleased with the trip.
As people have written before, there is a good pist, offpiste, park
I think Burton Park was the best this year.
A tip for those who like offpist is to get up in the big cabin, when you turn right 100 meters to the right, you should have a big ravine, where you'll find UNDERSTANDING.
d is as beautiful drip there from 1 meter to 10 meter you can also find beautiful jumps that people have built and even nature formed hope!
The ride found in Mayrhofen, I was terribly pleased, but I lived in Hippasch and that village was quite boring there was not a lot of o There was a bar called "Disco hits" but d was no height there between 10 - 20 boys every night o drank beer and why did they sit there? probably because there were stripes where dancing .. you may go into mayrhofen if you want to find something fun party place ...

6th year in a row now that I have been in the Zillertal valley, v.8. Certainly you can start the slopes now, but it is still a surprise surprise every year. On the other hand, they build and build liftsystems on a regular basis and, of course, the weather changes too. This year you were invited to some snow and wind as well as fog and so on. in the beginning of the week. It in turn caused that when the sunny days came, it was really really good off-piste riding with very soft and nice pillows. However, it was almost too much on the glacier, Hintertux.

But the zillertal is definitely a place worth visiting.

JAg was in Mayerhofen last year. Mayherhofen has everything from piste to park to good bc. You will not be disappointed when you get there, it may be difficult to find the park. The park is bold with double-knotted pipe and larger kicker lines.

Have fun in the Mayerhofen

I have been to many different ski resorts in Austria. Were it the first time we were in Mayerhofen. This is clearly the best place! Now they will always be Mayerhofen they are really the cannon! There is a lot of skiing system you can go on. If you add some extra when you buy the ski pass, you can go on a Glacier (Hintertux) In fine weather, the right cannon is to go there ... I am wondering that you have not been to Mayerhofen and are excited to go to the eastern yard there!!!! (including you others)

Be here -94, a foggy week where I most remember that it was a place in Austria like everyone else. More glühwein than class class.

have been to Mayrhofen 25 times. People wonder if I'm never tired of going to the same place all the time, but NO, I answer. Mayrhofen is like a second home to me, there is everything. superb skiing, skis after ski, lots of shops, good skiing / snowboarding and anything else that belongs to the ski resort. this year we were down v16 and next year we go down v15. the advantage of going down January - Mars is that there is ALWAYS plenty of snow. If you go down later, you often enjoy the heat in the village. it will be so awesome contrasts .. go shorts in the village and go board on top .. ganz wunderschön :) ps. A nice place with a lovely atmosphere. It really feels it's a ski resort. The backs are perhaps not the best in the world, but there are also worse ones. And a bit away there is a wonderful system called Zillertal Arena. Do not go here because you are looking for black offpistbacks but because you are looking for a place with a nice atmosphere both in the village and in the hill
