Pal Arinsal

Pal Arinsal is located in La Massana, just north of Andorra la Vella, and consists of two sectors connected by cable car: Pal and Arinsal. Together, they offer approximately 39 miles of slopes. Pal Arinsal was previously part of the Vallnord brand along with Ordino Arcalís. That name is no longer used. Today, Pal Arinsal is a separate ski resort under Grandvalira Resorts, with no slope connection to Grandvalira or Arcalís.

The Pal side offers extensive tree skiing, which often provides better visibility when weather moves in. Arinsal is more open and alpine higher up, with greater vertical relief. Elevations range from approximately 5,085 to 8,399 feet, so snowmaking is important during milder periods. There is a snow park, and after fresh snowfall, it is often possible to find skiing near the slopes in the trees on the Pal side.

Pal Arinsal is primarily suited to families and groomed-run skiers who want a manageable system close to the capital, with two distinct characters covered by the same lift ticket.
