Vallnord - Pal - Arinsal

Pal Arinsal is located in La Massana just outside Andorra la Vella and consists of two connected sectors, Pal and Arinsal. Together, the area offers 39 miles of slopes, making it one of the larger systems on the northern side of Andorra.

The skiing is especially well-suited for those who enjoy groomed runs with a smooth, flowing feel. The Pal side has a lot of tree skiing, which often provides better visibility when the weather moves in, while Arinsal feels more open and alpine higher up. Elevations range roughly between 5,085 and 8,399 feet, so snowmaking plays an important role during milder periods.

The lift system is large for the area, with 32 lifts in various types that let you spread out and switch sides during the day. There’s also a snowpark, and when fresh snow falls, it’s often possible to find more natural terrain close to the runs—especially in the wooded terrain on the Pal side—as long as conditions are right.
