Ski Canaro

Ski resorts in Andorra
Ski Canaro is a small ski area near Soldeu, Andorra, focused on children and adults learning to ski. Here, skiing is about making those first turns rather than taking long downhill runs. Two wide beginner slopes and a vertical drop of 161 feet provide a limited area for practicing braking, turning, and using the lift. Canaro is not part of the Grandvalira lift system.
Artificial snow supplements the natural snowfall. A ski school and rental facilities are available on-site, as is a separate sledding hill that keeps sledding separate from the ski slopes. The resort is located along the main CG-2 highway and has parking near the slopes, making visits with children and equipment easier.

At the base of the slopes, there is a restaurant and a terrace overlooking the runs, which is convenient for anyone watching someone else take their first ski lessons. Canaro is primarily suited to an introduction to skiing. Anyone already confident making turns and looking for longer or steeper runs will need a larger ski area.
