The whole gasteiner valley was like a child's back, except a scratch up in the sports street called The North Route type now.
But otherwise the hottel would be nice, but if you want extreme driving, I do not want to recommend badgastein.

The Gastein area with Angertal is not so spectacular, but you can catch the bus (which is not difficult, only cramped), so you can reach Sportgastein and Dorfgastein.
Went a day in Sportgastein. Unfortunately, a little boring area when it's windy as it snowed when you have to get down to the woods to find a good, soft and deep offpiste. On the other hand, you found good burns, which was more than you can say about the Gastein area.
However, Dorfgastein was the best. Due to the side edges of the mountain, one could get good snow all day because the sun was moving over the mountain. When it was soft from the beginning you could go in the shade and when it was crowded, wait until the sun warmed it away. When the snow is too "heavy" and low-risk, you change to the other side and have good snow for the rest of the day. So: Dorfgastein ... Best. Canoeing all week even though it was the week before Easter. A little trip will be added then that week before rain and been 18 degrees hot =). Top!

For easy driving. The best ride is at Sportgastein. If you go forward the spring edge you have to sportgastein because it is a bit bad with snow at the other nearby facilities. There are also steep slopes in the village that can be difficult. Poor with outside dining.

Sportgastein is the best

It can be really hard to find the true crown jewels if you are only there for a week, but believe us they are. A hot tip is to ask the seasons then you can find a really nice ride with a lot of pillows. Why else would you go down on a second season ... Good life at Haeggis at the beginning of the evening and ahead of the hour, Gatz gets really fun.

Good place, but a bit too little snow just when we were there in the middle of January. The best ride is in Bad Hofgastein and Sportgastein. Goa and wide slopes which was a big plus, good island in the evenings and nights, especially at Häggbloms.

A little more demanded rides are found on the southern side of sports gastein if you want to go a little tougher and avoid boring transportation distances. A little minus is that the avalanche risk is quite noticeable during the day, but if you go in the morning it can be quite rewarding.

was at Easter 2000 .... a little late on the saddle to make the ride really good. generally quite easy to ride but there are some real sweets hidden on the mountain slopes .... especially in the sports ground where you can get a really nice cushion ... nordabfahrt is also recommendable, or about 1600 fall height meters with red / black piste. ... totally approved, extra plus for the modern and fast lifts that quickly eliminate the queues ....

Easy ride. However, Nordabfahrt in Sportgastein can offer some surprises. There are some clips if you like that. Mandatory competing with the bummar. Swarms of Swedes = Good party in the evenings.
