What do you think about Hemsedal?

Have been to Hemsedal a lot, have probably been 6-7 times over the years. Have mostly been there in week 8 but also in week 1 and 5. Best riding I have had in week 5 last year with a bit of freshness most of the days, there were not so many people either, mostly Danish school classes were there and they stayed away from the blue, red and black slopes so there was untouched snow until after lunch :)

Week 8 is, of course, quite a few people, one of which is mostly marked at the end of the tourist lane, where everyone tends to clump up.

Should you mention something negative, it's good that you do not get that much before you have to get back into a lift.
There are slopes for both beginners and experienced.
Definitely worth a visit :)

I went very late in the season, so I did not taste it
powder. But the park is world-class and satisfies most jibbers.

Var 6 days in Hemsedal in early January. Nice snow, good offpiste that was well available, lifts up on 3 different scales.
Higher, it is quite slippery in the slopes, down to the ski center it becomes steeper. Some of the slopes inside the birch forest are narrow and steep, when we were there, it was also with puckles - lovely.

This was my first visit to Hemsedal and I am very pleased with the range of slopes. Three peaks that offer mixed difficulty and beautiful views. :)

I'm a mediator and felt completely satisfied with what was there. Long beautiful green and blue ridges and some quick red that offered some technical rides. Black was a bit crazy, but the main back was just right. There was, however, an overwhelming black double diamant that I lived pretty and evenly. Offpist I never found myself this time.

Stayed in apartment cottage Rögjin booked via Bengt-Martin and it was very good. Walking distance to the reception etc (however, it is always fussy in the pants).

The night life was well below V.6. There were a lot of things that happened inside Hemsedal center but you never hurried to catch me. On the other hand there was a nice club (the Hemsen) right next to the front desk and that was where I was.

If I visit Hemsedal again? I'll probably do that, now I know what's available, but I still tired a bit at the end after 7 days. Variation makes sense as it usually boils down. But I recommend Hemsedal after all. On the scale I want to give it 3.5 out of 5, but it is not possible that it will be a three. OK! A four would have had if it was not so expensive in Norway as well as a little more variation on the slopes instead of all the wide and relatively smooth slopes that existed.

best in the north.

good start of a review?
that's the case.
Hemedal has fewer backs a number of the other big in the north, but who cares ...? ... the lift and the back system are built in an intelligently intelligent way ...
everything goes down to the same valley station ...

the high mountain peaks ... on the three 14-1500 meters the peaks are absolutely wonderful even though it can be a little flat on the tip ...

piste:

if you do not want to climb extra .... (which one can both o want ... wonderful over the rojgin if you climb o sticking down the back (or the front for that part .... taxi ... the men ...)
if you do not want to climb as said, you can almost all stand out outside the piste on the high mountain and find nice snow .... often possible to find totally untouched a little here o there ...

best.

Come home from home last night. A wonderful skiing week with lots of nice skiing all over the mountain, both inside and outside the piste! I can recommend "Reidarskaret" if you're going outside the piste and ravine, but watch out for the waterfall! You have to go to the village by the way, but you can take a ski bus up to the center. The night life this week, on the other hand, was not much to have, but I think it's better earlier in the season and during the weekends.

Just returned from four days in Hemsedal (060320
-060323). The 75 cm snow that is advertised on the website is the most in
the theory and the small snow that lies are sharp as soon as you step out
out of the pistes. However, there have been a lot of things on the side and the gorges
nice things and you can get the coolest ride. The week was saved by
constant sun and a top trip via the Solheisen with Norwegian
Experiences that were clearly memorable with untouched rides and
Perhaps the northern hemisphere's densest forest at the end.

Have been there quite a few times. Because when I was a little, I followed my dad who drove a bus up to Hemsedal throughout the winter. Everywhere I learned to go skiing. Then I was there in Dec 2005. Since they were 10 years since I was there last they had changed. But I thought they were good skiing, though they were just artificial snow. There was some real snow at the top. They were mostly riding in the tourist slope and the red hill (do not remember what it's called) because I was there at the ski school course. But it is certainly good if you get there a little further in the season and the sun is coming there. When I was there, it blew very smoothly and every -10 degrees.

Hey!
Just come home from a 4 day wonderful trip in the home team !! shit what we had fun !!! I have to say that Hemsedal is the absolute best ski resort to go if you go to the north. Really good skiing for both the experienced and inexperienced. But most of all, indescribably fun nightlife. GO IT !!! I will undoubtedly visit Hemsedal again. A slight negative factor, however, was that it is unusually expensive there. Well, that's good, wherever you go in Norway
Bye Bye!!!

Were in the home team at the end of January and had four good skiing days on the slopes, which felt perfectly appropriate for the system. Unfortunately, the entire system was not open, the Rogjintoppen was closed, as well as many backs around the "I-lift". Unfortunately, there was some snow in the terrain where the offpiste ride was not good, but have to say there are good conditions for offpiste skiing.

Possibly with Hemsedal is that we did not see any lift queues and that you can get a really nice and varied ride if you start from Tindentoppen.

The negative thing about going to Hemsedal during January and early February is that there is no sun in the slopes except Rogjin. This is because the sun does not come across the tip tip.
