Hemsedal is the second best place I've been to. It's great backs and very good off piste.

It is a good skiing with many slopes. Very good off piste opportunities. Go there!

Hemsedal is very good when there is a lot of snow! Had the season -99 really good weeks in the H-Valley!

If you look at the whole, Hemsedal is the best place in Norway. OK, maybe the offpiste is not the best. But Hesedal has the fatest park, coolest afterski and most variety in the slopes. And now that Hemsedal has been bought by Swedes, it's even better.

Keep up with others because there are too many wannabies in Hemsedal. Otherwise, I think the stall is absolutely perfect with incredible offpiste areas if it's a winter with a lot of snow. It's just a matter of searching, so you will find most of Hemsedal.

Hemsedal is clearly an overrated ski resort that is sometimes considered to be the north's answer to Chamonix. I have been to both establishments and can only say ... bull! Hemsedal is okay but there is not much space in the system itself. If you want a raw off-piste in a large area, head to Oppdal. Ride on !!

I have to agree with Jørgen. Hemsedal is not as good as anyone claims. If you like the hills, Hemsedal is an ok place to be. However, if you want to go out in the loose snow, you should take the trip to Voss.

Stop claiming that Hemsedal is so good. The only thing they can understand is little snow, a lot of people, long cows, cramped in the offpiste, lots of wannabees and a water-white good park. Travel somewhere else !!!

When it's good with snow, it's fine. However, you shut down as soon as it blows up a bit, and then it will be chaos, especially during high season. The amount of Swedish-Danish-German bus passengers on weekends and during the sports / easter law makes the place almost unbearable. Good nightlife though, but not a pilsner in the back so long when (Norwegian ideas) Usually good offpiste but the year's season is NOT good. Poor snow and REGN after New Year have removed the possibilities, which are otherwise quite large.

Hemsedal is the only place in the north that can measure with the alps with raw offpiste, superb snowboard park (600m long, 2 pipes), best after-ski in the Nordic region (so said!) Hemsedal Café and good with lodging. Enough with snow. Can be queued, but then it's just staying up in the plant where the best trails are.
