I'm not a professional skier, but Hemsedal was really awesome.

One day it was really snowy and the slopes were really fun to ride in, very nice snowmobile.
There is a good variety of slopes in Hemsedal, but it is probably more suitable for those who want to ride red / black slopes, with variation. To go with the lifts as far as it goes, to the top, was full of skis, there were many slopes to choose from there.

Warning for exercise pain if you are untrained, the slopes are long !! : D

The exhibits in the evenings are quite crowded. There were some places to choose from, and that was a lot of fun on most. Hemsedal Café and Garasjen in the center is recommended.

Hemsedal has almost everything for a ski trip of 3-4 days. Good backs, good offpiste, good lift system, good skier, good after ski, good accommodation, good and cheap travel there ...
The only thing that is not good is that the village is not at the ski slopes and that the food in the hill is not a good thing but really expensive. Bring all you need in a food route from Sweden, and go there!

Come home from a 5-day trip to the home team last day, and can say that I'm not gonna complain, quite early in the season and it's nice to have a good ride, the offpiste is grumpy to be in the north, and the brothers do not make the vote worse ... Parties like just a fan of horror are home-made !!!!

Hemsedal is a place I will continue to return to.
I like its long naturally winding slopes.

There is variety and you can stay there for a week and feel good.

Staying in the upper part of the system will not be as terrible with people as at the bottom of the valley.

I liked the home team I was there last year and will be there again this year. thought some slopes were crazy while others were so. did not get any off-piste when the snow was packed, hard as asphalt. but you can not complain about the funpark it was big and well-prepared, a plus to the little fun park where you hung up after a hard night (had fun). This year I will take time to get some off-road ride. and I hope they are as many nice girls as last year. you got a lot of whining.

First of all, I would like to point out that if you not only want to go, but also party, you will find the world party there.
During Easter, the party's party elit is gathered there and it is probably possible that it is Europe's, if not the world's best after-ski, during the Easter season.

good off-piste, but only when there is a new snow cover, otherwise ALL will be hit by all off-pist-horny Scandinavians.

I was there week 13 and a fourth time I visit the home team.
As usual, it was top, even better than in previous times, due to the fact that we arrived after a snowstorm so we got lost snow.
The park was in abrupt toppings and this time I was surprised by a new smaller park that suited me very well with my rough rail skills

Pure trip to home with the family a few years ago. This was the first, and hitils, the time I tried snowboarding. In the home team there are probably the best slopes in the whole of the north. He is usually perfectly prepared and kept all day long. Much variation in the ride. Do not know anything about the offpiste because I did not interfere with another snowboard and get it in the right direction.
But, Hemedal is a really great place, both for entertainment and for a ride.

Hemsedal is really cool. Too bad it's so far from Stockholm. The main part of the slopes are in the north end, so it's not very sunny (at least not around New Year, I do not know what's later in the season), but on the other hand, it's not as bad in the slopes. The red slopes from the top down to the middle can be quite crowded (low season) and will keep well all day long.

Just remember one thing - Never go with the "Ola-lift". That lift is sick slowly, you can freeze to death or die of sadness before you get up!

Hemsedal is good since it is not March, sun and weekend, then it's all over the place and a lot of queue. But otherwise it's really good, go park made for everyone from bad to professionals and varying backs. If you compare a team with a year old, it's my classification, for years it's a lot of transport and you have to make sure you get down right when the lifts close if you do not want to go a good bit. In the home team, all the backs of the same place can be a lot of people, so you always get to the cabin, the car or the ski bus on the way.
