Hemsedal is relatively large for being a Scandinavian facility. Good snow conditions prevail. In Hemsedal you can also find Norway's best après ski.

The slopes in the slopes are not very impressive. What is good with Hemsedal is the opportunity for cruel off-piste rides. Regarding the park, I was also not two-dimensional. The big big jumps were well-off, but the smaller things were worthless. The pipe was quite nice, but the giant quartern on the right side was quite sick. Here we talk to icebergs.

Trorts, I think I can still recommend Hemsedal. I myself was there over new year 02/03 and had a jerk! Mostly evening maybe ... Okay then. Hemsedal gets a third in grades, but then the offpiste is drawing the score.

Hemsedal is undoubtedly one of the best ski resorts in the north. The extreme terrain and the well-oiled lift system make the area a heavenly one.
It's easy to just throw the superlatives to Hemsedal but for once it feels right. Sure, there can be very many people here during the weekends, a bit like Åre, but you do not have to be where everyone else is ...
The slopes are not the best but the offpiste is very classy.
Liftköerna is really the only bad thing about Hemsedal. That since the village is a few kilometers from the hill, it's a small thing that annoys a bit. I do not know how the plans are or have passed, but it was supposed to build a lift from the center to the building. Whatever this is done or not, I do not really know but the idea is brilliant.
In short, Hemseal is worth a visit or two.

Pretty expensive. Exceptional party place. Has the impression that the off-piste is quite upscale. Nice terrain park. Opportunities for ice climbing when (90% of the time?) Off-piste conditions are bad, check steepstone.com for driver. All in all, this is mostly the place for jibbers & party lions

Positive .. Well there for years ago .... BE ALREADY IF YOU wrote to me where you go offpiste. What a lift. etc are taken. Will be there soon! LENGTH: Last I've been there, so be it for 3 years see. did not go much off the pimper then ... but should do it now. AJA. would be happy to answer. However, it seems that there is one + and that the slopes mend out in a single ... MONEY, that's good in ways and ways. I mean. Last time I stayed there, we were left to the left (on the pistachio and hoped. Then we left after they closed. We could still come down to the bus stop. =) =) =) !!! mmm thankful for the answer ..... extremely thankful. want to be prepared before !!!

have been to the home team a couple of times now and think it's completely okkey. best ajag has been in Norway.
A lot of offpiste not so hard but nice. and the park is good enough when you do not yet feel so hot in the pipes. but the disadvantage e that they become sloppy when it is heated. and gets up easily

I ended up in Hemsedal most by accident at the beginning of April -99 when my snowstorm was quite acute. Then I took a weekend in the area and ended up in a cabin in Gol (Pers Cottage). Quite okay, stay a weekend, but it's a bit to go to the facility. The skiing in the area is fun, both varied and challenging. It was quite hot when I was there so it became quite sloppy in the slopes until the day, but they were good anyway. The best ride I think is around the Tindenheis, Hamarheisen and Hollvinheisen. The negative with the weekend was that there were quite a few people and became a part of the lift queue. My withdrawal was cured at the moment and I would like to be medicated again in Hemsedal. So close but still so good!

The first thing I noticed when I came to Hemsedal was how high the mountains are. Here are mountains, not small hills as in the Swedish mountains.

Ok, it does not hit the Alps, it will never do, but on the other hand it's a bit closer.

The lift system may not be the best considering all the slopes open in one (!), But one day it will be improved. It has been talked about for a long time now ...

The slopes are good and varied. It's all from black challenging to red coal to blue carving pistons. And of course, the green "danishback". :)

The offpiste is divided into two criteria: easily accessible in the lift system and the rest of the mountains that you have to go up for yourself.

Besides the lift system you will find nice areas like "Reidarskaret", "Analen", "Kammen", "Mortenskaret", "Lilla Matterhorn", "Gummiskogen" etc. is it snowy and some wind can I guarantee good pow-pow!

On the other hand, if you want to be totally lonely and feeling bad, there is endless mass more. The whole of Hemsedal is full of find mountain sides to drive down for. Tops like Kyrkjebönosi, Nibbi, Skogshorn etc. are nice day trips with huge views as a pay for the effort to get there.

Nice ice climbing can be found in Hemsedal. Hydnefossen you see just before reaching Hemsedal is about 160 meters tall and is known for ice climbing. Then there is the Rjukandefossen with a little easier climbing at about 15-20 meters altitude.

Party must also be mentioned. Here is the party Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Whole season. And after skiing. Garasjen, Hemsedal Cafe, Skistua, the Experten (with bowling) and the Hemsen are the best exhibits. On winter holidays and Easter and the end of the weekend of May, this is the party all the time. Correct party.

But you should not forget the summer. Then it is quiet but very beautiful in Hemsedal. Then you can go hiking, playing golf and mountain biking. Very beautiful.

Have been have a few times on long weekends .... long liftköer, nice backs but they are quickly picked up, very nice Norwegian and good pull on afterskin at hemsedal café .... hemsedal is very special to me because they were here I sat my first 720 and i will be sure to return here .. it's worth a visit if you have not been here .... the place itself is not worth a 5th but one can easily make it one, believe me

Shared sentences about Hemsedal as it sounds army. One thing only, those who complain about the offpiste can not be fond of the area! Ok if bad with snow, but where is the good offpiste if it's bad with snow. Blessing snow in Hemsedal, it is very good for offpist moods! (Available before all levels) May be a lot of people on weekends, because of all "Oslo people" who go up. The slopes are quite ok, at least three times the length of the middle back in Sweden, nothing wrong with the slope. Are you looking for a party, so be sure to spend the weekend, otherwise it may be wednesdays, the staffing fortune, like gills. (Better second half of winter)
