Kittelfjäll is the best ski resort I've been to the offpistbacks is crazy the favorite is, of course, Kolorado

We (family of 6 ski and boarders) have been to most ski resorts in Sweden and Kittelfjäll beats everyone!
Good with varied skiing. Two helicopter companies flying! Often lovely pudersnö.
Good with two eateries that you reach through the lifts. Kittelparken - fun place and good food. Hotel - good.
Good with the gourmet place Gran. Wonderful setting, superb food and friendly staff.
Good with the horses down at Kittelparken. Beautiful and exciting for all types of riders. Nice riding environment and a flexible guide
Fun to ride a carriage ride (Kittelpark) and eat in the wild.
Good cross country trails that run both in the forest and near Vojmån. Elupplyst.
Possibility of fishing and snowmobiling is also available.
We have gone to sleep up, we have flown up and we have driven a car up. We have stayed in the hotel's cottages and we have stayed at the hotel and we have lived in the Kittelparken cabins (nice).
Rarely queues to the lifts.
Can not get anything wrong with Kittelfjäll except that if you travel with Active Ski, they are bad at informing you that there are more places than the hotel to eat.

Even I have been to Kittelfjäll a number of times and will also be there this year. Just have to give a little credit to this place as they are a real gem we have in Sweden. But you should not be there for a long time, a long weekend is good enough. In addition, all the Danes who have taken over Åre have been released;). I have been there when it has been fully booked over everything (sports act) and even when there have been very few people. Apart from them, I have to say that both have their charm but it will be a bit more fun when it's not completely dead.

In the end, I have to say that if you do not want to be satisfied with the lice during your trip, Heliskiin is always there. The first time i was there so come all the snow last hour before we go the fate ...... but

Have been there over and over under 20 years. Gets a sense of constant ownership change and given a less successful staffing staff with a low working ethic and sense of service. One might wonder if they sold their pistons because they do not seem to care about elemental tasks such as repelling snowy snow on windy roads and lifts, and in one of the very few "groomed" slopes on the mountain.
Very insufficient information about lifts' opening hours and full fare on the lift card when only 25% of the facility is open, the skier only gives a further sense of the widespread "slacker culture" among the employees.
Add to that a lot of commentary from the ski rental staff with sarcastic joke about skiers who injured themselves earlier this week.

Do not plan to go to Kittelfjäll more than for heliskiing when it's really dumped.

Kittelfjäll has what all other Swedish mountains lack, ravines in a kettle and all roads carry to Rome, down to the elevator. Therefore, not so many lifts are needed. So do not be discouraged by the few available lifts. Cruel riding. The kids have fun and our adults find wonderful scratches when we are child-worn. Heliski is also available. Great food in the restaurant.

Kittelfjäll is unique!

After recomendations from ski companions we made a break and booked a trip with Active Ski Travel to Kittelfjäll. We have previously flown with Active Ski to both Andermatt and Engelberg and then everything has worked perfectly. But this time it was a trip with sleeper bus, which proved to be very good. Departure on Thursday evening and back in town (Sthlm) on Monday morning and 3 full days of superb skiing. It's amazing that after a few hours of traveling, sleep down to wake up in a snow-covered Kittelfjäll in the morning. On the way home, you can sleep even more beautiful after a tough weekend of skiing.

Just like Active Ski had declared where accommodation was of simple standard, but we are not in Kittelfjäll to lie in the room and wonder-Here's going skiing!

On the first day, we will join Active Ski's offpiste guidance, which is very good and quickly gives us an overview of the system and where we find the best rides. We find lots of good rides and some of the favorites we visit are several times the Snäckor, Storgrova, Kålorado and beyond the eastern elevator in the forest Pastor, Cousins ​​and a lot of forest in the woods, which I do not have names. Even though it has not been snowing for over a week, we'll find lots of beautiful lice of 10-25 cm to trace in the woods.

On Saturday there is blue sky and we decide to test the heliskiingen. We are heading for a 5-stroke lift, where we get several rides on the 3 peaks in Marsfjällen, which are over 1500 m high. Here it is completely unspoiled and over 30 cm new snow in the higher regions. An amazing day!

The night to Sunday it starts snowing at the same time as it blows a lot, which means that everything is completely untouched again on Sunday mornings. In the ravines and forests it has blown together 30 cm sneezing, again we take back the Active Ski guides who know where we find untouched snow in the system. The ski system is 90% below the tree line, which means that we have no problem with the sight even if it is snowing. After lunch it will be cleared and we will finish the afternoon by going to Norgesvängen, a very superb yard in sparsely spruce forest of over 500 fall height meters in untouched snowfall of 30-40 cm.

We have high expectations for skiing in Kittelfjäll and they are met well - There is nothing better in Scandinavia .... or next year we will test Active Ski bus ride to Stranda in Norway.

Were there for six ski days in mid March and were lucky with the weather and unlucky with the weather. It snowed easily and blew a little bit roughly all week, which meant we could go unprotected in pricip all the time. On the other hand, the helicopters flew only in the evening when the wind moaned, so some lift was not.

Time-effective trip with sleeper bus from Sthlm, I thought I was too old for such a thing, but it worked really well indeed. Once upon a time, the company consisted of a ninth grade (who had difficulty sleeping on the bus), a conference call from some IT companies and saw a bunch of disappointed helipads from Austria.

Kittelfjäll has fun terrain, is extremely light-oriented and is only about skiing. If you have a claim for something else then you have to bring it yourself and from home. But there is certainly a bathtub at least, and there are both horses and scooters if you want to adore it. The food in the hotel is more focused on quantity than quality, which is quite good.

Make sure to have a lot of snow, on the ground or from the top, so you will have amazing days. I can only imagine how safe it is if it does not snow in three weeks or if it gets cold after rain and plus degrees. When I was there we found fluffy snow in something that I think is called the Björnfällan (far to the left from the left lift but not over the comb) but otherwise it would not be slash alert, so at least almost. Slask is by the way an underestimated before.

Kittelfjäll is recommended, but be sure to have a precipitation or you may as well stay at home. Only three downhill runs are pistached, the rest is raised, rocky or brown if it is not filled.

I will go back, aim for low season weeks and late bookings so you know what's going on for weather.

Do not know that Sweden had resorts like Kittelfjäll. The place is in the middle of nowhere and the ski resort is run by enthusiasts. This gives a wonderfully charming and unseen feeling.

If you like fresh accommodation, luxury food, modern lifts, groomed pistes and a pretty easy ride, you'll forget about this place. There are sunk, unorganized and mostly unpaved slopes. Heliskiingen is a ski boot and cheap.

I will go here next year too, and then I will skip the lift card, then it will be a helicopter all the way!

Come home this morning. Totally dull in the body after 3 fantastic skiing days, and a seven-way bus ride. Ligbuss, but turn around is not going. But it was possible to sleep, if not so good.
Had all inclusive with Active Ski. Stayed in the ski room - quite OK but small beds for a long guy.
+ The world's cheapest heliski. Check out Kittelpark, they drive a few other tops and are extremely nice and competent.
+ challenging system, even if it's small. The favorite became Storgrova - a giant pipe that only becomes narrower and narrower. It poked the hill at the "new" lift is fun. Good steep and little people.
