Sweden's most overrated "ski resort"! Really do not understand the hypothesis of Kittel .. Just come home from a week in kittelfjäll, which can only be described with a word "MISS !!!" The first circumstance that contributed to the ski trip "from hell" derives from the amazingly rough weather and digging snow shortages. These factors can only blame the weather gods and their own bad research for. BUT, Kittelfjäll does not make it easier for them to report the (totally) misleading number of average snowflows on the website. Neither can I understand when the offpiste does not turn out to be the best part of the piste, if you can not help using snow cannons to create a foundation in the piste.

By the way, I fully agree with David Nilsson's analysis of the lifting situation above !!!

Went with the activity fixes that for some untrue reason had brought two high school classes to kittelfjäll, talk about malplacé! When you are already angry with the weather, it's not so nice to wake up at three o'clock in the night because it's fourteen-star in the kitchen of the skiers!

Now to the next topic the food! do not take 1/2 penny for the sake of God, The culinary experience that I had this weekend consisted of pineapple and bea disguised as pork fillet in the menu, informed the staff that stomach had occurred, informing me that it was not enough for the food without the staff having been affected by the flu this week !!! Saturday's food was edible, but on Sunday it was not a half-finished platter potato with a "meatball" read stoor meatballs or lump that had been merged in a mastery way, so it was hard to get apart, and it was seasoned with my favorite spices of aroma and rosé pepper in equal parts.

Now back to the ski situation again, a tip for anyone who goes to the kittelfeld and plan to take advantage of the lift, buy lift passes by day when it's impossible to get money when the elevator is still standing!

as for the recital on 28/11
I was in the kitty in late summer / autumn and and it was new cut and tidy around the hotel and in the village, then the boys are keeping renovating the hotel's new toilets and showers and the "bullies" lifting guns are changing wheels as been a problem and replaced this with an 8 wheel drive. so it was a little bit of a good thing and you will see that things in Kittel continue to be one of Sweden's best ski resorts.

In Kittelfjäll there is now only one thing that is good-MOUNTAIN!
That's why I've been there every other year or every third weekend for three years now and enjoy the ride!
On the other hand, hotel and lift managers are incredibly nonshallant and some of them can not criticize at all:
Dangerous sharp-cut stubs and metal objects have stuck in, for example, "Rix morgonzoo"
The lifts are year after year so badly adjusted that the wire lies obliquely in the worn wheels, so the old lift traces as soon as it blows a bit.
The new lift seems to have "low" ski tracks so the construction line is not enough. It can not be opened until a lot of snow has plowed there.
We who pay for the lift pass will get OFTA see both lifts stand still and we get so annoyed !!!
The hotel seems to be completely downturned and the renovation needs are highly sought after (but there you can refuse to live;)
In summer, Kittelfjäll is a dump, in the woods around the hotel is drifting away from the hotel and restaurant.

But when you have a cannonberg, you obviously do not need to take care of the plant - people still come!

Forget blueberries in green slopes. definitely the favorite in the north for my part. have only got there once and it was a week 15. will be your week 13 this season. And then go all the way to JakFreeride with the following: P

Yes, to kittelfjäll were there on friday and saturday 1a and 2a april the slopes were okay but there was some snow next year so I should go to the kettle earlier due to the snow was very little snow but fun was it.

Kittel has everything you need. Transport up and quality down and a bed to sleep in. What else can you ask for. Is there yearly and enjoying the deep snow and all the wonderful forests.
Thank you for being there so you get some real skiing away from the dry stockholms.

Are you looking for snowboarding land, a big variety of taverns with a lot of stockholmers who do not know what a ski is, but still go after aprons and well-groomed green slopes to go swimming? Then you've gotten wrong (try the seal instead).

But if you are a hard-wearing man or a rocky Alpine girl who loves off-piste skiing and hiking on the mountain with the board / skis on the back then you have come to paradise!

Kittelfäll is one of Sweden's best off-site but absolutely beautiful ravine skiing and cozy atmosphere. It's a very small place with good and personal festivities and common sauna nights where you get to know beautiful personalities from all corners of Sweden, everyone with the community that they love sneezing. The "Wilderness Baths" are lovely to enjoy the cold winter evening, wearing a hat and an optional beer in your hand.

The things that are a bit bad with Kittel are the lifts. In case of excessive wind, they stop and they run quite slowly.

Kittelfjäll is a place I have visited several times and will definitely come back to, one of the absolute favorites in the north!

Wonderfully! Ever since I sat in the car to go home I've longed back!
The offpiste is wonderful and the slopes are beautiful. However, snowboarding may be a bit tricky, as long journeys will often take place after the off-piste, but it is worth the effort.
Even though there are only two sledding lifts, the ride is great, but if you get tired, there's everything CatSki (which I did not test) when you go skiing on the peaks around Kittelfjäll. Another thing you can do as I recommend is to go on a snowmobile safari. You can go for a distance around the mountain towards Kittelfjäll over lakes, through woods and over the mountains, really awesome!

Regarding the elevator to the saddle, they say they want to build it almost down the road just above consumption. In this way you get both the saddle to the consumer trainer.
when this lift begins to build is not clear. they do not have enough money yet.
Kittelfjäll recently bought the inn at norrbyskär just south of Umeå, and they will start with a raft boat in Umeå. everything to bring together more money to the elevator. (let's hope iaf). go for a little raft to sponsor kittelfeld. ;)

The reason they have not had hope built is that they take so long to bring people to the hospital if they are injured. Now you may think that they are as easy to mash the skull against a tree in the 80 pin ... afterwards we built a pair of bigjumps there this year, all 2 pieces, not so big to rather sunk, but still, and two rails. They are heading the right way. will try to make them build more hope this year. But if you go away a bunch on the mountain with a spade to salt there are the more fun places to build on.

Be sure to recommend the fried chicken. heli the ride as well as catskiing there are wonderful. have been working this season there that can not really agree with others who talk crazy about the place. Or are they because they have raised the age limit of those who work there to 20 (every 19 years this year) or are they simply because I just love skiing there. Could go almost every day when I was usually free in the middle than I did not feel tired at all. On the contrary, I long for back, so go there this season.
