Were there on week 2 2010. Went with Langley, flight to Grenoble. Stayed at the Langley Hotel La Vielle Ferme in Villeneuve.

Plus:

* Good snowfall.

* Good pistachio in general

* Varied skiing, ranging from blue slopes to steep slopes with skating rink. There are good slopes for all types of riders.

* Coherent lift system with quite a few transport stretches.

* Stable lifts, although some are just as old and unchanged. Extremely few stops and incredibly reliable compared to eg Åre

* Absolutely nonexistent lift queues, totaled 20 seconds in a week

* Offpisträvar finds a unique access to offpiste tracks in the lift system without knocking a meter.

* Langley Hotel La Vielle Ferme is eclectic, and the food is cruel.

Minus:

* Still some deadly slip lifts that wear their backs in pieces with their two fingers

* A lot of less good skiers who unfortunately efficiently hunt and plow up puck piste in the slopes for the afternoon.

* Definitely NOT cheap with jaws in the restaurants of the restaurants. On the other hand, where in the Alps is it cheap ....?

* Halftryg transfer, though with awesome views and cliff top 50 cm from the bus window

* Grenoble airport not the best on the planet ...... but it may well be considered a petitess in the context.

Overall, I can only say: Go here !!!!! The skiing is completely complete and offers plenty for all skiers. Offpisträven finds everything he / she needs in the lift system, if you want to knot a bit, the kingdom of heaven opens. The pistachio shooter finds enough advanced slopes, not very long, but long enough and well-pisted. The beginner finds nice, wide and good pisted slopes.

Villeneuve is a cozy town with great contrasts between the old part of the village and the newer. Highly recommended.

Hey on you!
V 8 of the japp!
We were a gang of 140 youngsters who stabbed to Serre .. (total) went with Rollinsnow!
It was such a very good trip! we had incredible weather, and wonderful snow!
It was astonishingly a lot of driving on the party! .. The first day, when no man with a ride we stole to the little bar in the center (with the deal and such). But then we were curious about La Grotte, sick fun! .. Kareoke and Dj 's. One and another full barter. hahaa! swine fun.
But at least we stood at the slopes at 11! I can recommend other young people who travel to the Alps (anywhere) .. so bring as much food as you can from home, ketchup, mince, pasta, noodles, butter .. japp! you name it!
In summary, I can only say that I had the best trip throughout my life, so damn fun! and sick ride and the best weather! .. wohoooooo !! it will be Valle -10 !!

Be in Serre Chevalier 2 days v.10 - 09 the first day was the weather completely divine the slopes were nice, no lift queues. The lifts were good and you can not complain about the system itself. Did not have such high expectations for them because I had heard that they were communally owned, but as said the lifts were good. The second day, they were nice weather on the morning but about half past three - 3 they became really foggy just like in a milk bag So we canceled the ride for the day ...
Yes briefly about the area ...
Good lifts, not so good queues, good snow, do not type swords, those who are not so good are that the Frenchmen are not so good at skiing. So the slopes get pretty bad in the afternoon. Believe that the offpiste is pretty good if they have got new snow!

seasonally in the conservatory chevalier last season, first went to St. Anthony, but we did not enjoy it there. Certainly, it was good backs and a good party, but when we got to the conservatory we realized we made the right choice to change the place. the conservatory is a great place, the ride is clearly the best in the Alps! crushing everything and everyone! and there were really many seasoners there to hang out and chill with !! world class in town!

Was there January 2008 and may say that it was one of the best weeks I had in the Alps! Good slopes, minimal lift queues, good park and fat offpiste.

Afterskin was fat, just as good as at Cambre Neuf in Chamonix!

The fatest, however, was their halfpipe that was lit all night so you could pull out and take a half pipe after the slopes had closed and you had loaded up with some food and some beer!

Recommended!

high pace and challenging backs! As previous people have written, the nightlife is overwhelming. We were a group of 4 and thought to bet on the ride, but every day we stuck on some aftershoot or hook and did not get to bed before 2 in the night anyway * L * but it's a bit crazy the same vacation .............. will definitely go back, do not miss the woodland, BEST IN THE ALPS!

Insane !!! :) Be there over the sportswear and surf pillows all week. Cruel forest skiing, aldirg has been about similar! The park was also naaaaajs!

At the sports act the whole village was filled with party people so we celebrated 6 of 7 evenings, really good party quite simple !!!

Fun place with very varied rides. Compared to many other resorts in the Alps, Serre offers both cruel offpiste and good pistes. Probably the best forest crop you can get in the Alps so that's a plus and that the park was well looked after. So I have no one at all to complain about rioting. even the lifts work really well and just as someone else wrote there's hardly any queue at all! Some lifts are slow, but most are brand new and go really fast ....

Late afterskin was also surprisingly good. Met lots of Swedish seasoners and it was a very good move in the afternoons ... unfortunately we did not go out in the evenings so much because we always sank down on aftershine :) but one night we were out and it was just as you want it ... high pressure on good disco !!! :) The resort is highly recommended that I go there more times!

Was down on 6th of June 2008. Got about 50 cm of snow on monday. All Monday, the ski area was a single big puppy playground !!! It also made the rest of the week an amazing skiing week. As for the lifts in system, I experienced no problems. Good capacity, no queues. However, there is one and another trailer lift left in the system. Serre Chevalier offers plenty of close offpiste. The forest skiing is amazing in many places. It's just getting in and trying out. There are plenty of drops and big stones, take a little bit before you go on !!
The proximity to La Grave (about 30 km) is a definite bonus. Watch out when you're in Serre Chevalier, in case of good snow, it's magical.

Were in the conservatory v10-07 and it was bad with snow but really good weather. As for the light system, it is quite catastrophic. Some of the lifts go so slowly that the bells stop and do not have pads or support for the skis. However, it will hopefully be changed as the system is now bought by private business owners, before the municipality handed it over. Too bad with such a bad system when it could be so good. As I said, it was bad with snow when I was there, which was a pity, I would like to test the offpiste between the leathers in the conservatory chevalier.
