Corralco

Ski resorts in Chile
Located on the Lonquimay volcano in southern Chile, Corralco is known for its wide slopes and dramatic views of the Araucaria forests. The resort extends between 1,480 and 2,1312.3 feet and has around 30 slopes and 6 lifts. Thanks to the high location and the southern location, the snow supply is stable throughout the season.
For beginners, there are wide slopes and a well-organized ski school, while the intermediate skier appreciates the long red runs through the forest. Advanced skiers will find freeskiing on the open slopes of the volcano as well as excellent conditions for summit tours. Corralco is especially popular with randonné riders who want to reach higher volcanic peaks.

The base area offers a hotel, restaurant and spa – often with panoramic views of the volcanic landscape. The atmosphere is calm and close to nature, which makes the resort an alternative for those looking for tranquility rather than lively nightlife.
