Pucon-Villarica

Pucón – Villarrica is located on the slopes of the Villarrica volcano in southern Chile, near the city of Pucón. The ski area ranges from 1,200 to 2,1312.3 feet altitude with about 20 slopes and 9 lifts. The volcano's cone-shaped top creates a spectacular setting where you ride with views of lakes and forests.

For beginners, there are wide slopes near the base, while the intermediate skier has several longer slopes that wind down the volcano. Advanced skiers are attracted by the steep sections higher up and the opportunity to ski touring the volcanic crater – sometimes with steam and lava visible in the background.

In the town of Pucón there are hotels, restaurants, shops and a lively nightlife. The resort is also known for adventure tourism with activities such as rafting, hiking, and hot springs. The combination of skiing on an active volcano and a wide range of activities makes Pucón – Villarrica unique.
