5 ⭐️! Like that Idre is a Foundation and not SkiStar. Good variation on the slopes in the west, north and east. Really cozy restaurants with good food. Lots of cross-country trails, well prepared. Good service ✨

the food was very good and the cabin we rented was good, the only negative was that it became very icy on the slopes in just a few hours! and some slopes like pernillabacken and several slopes in the west can get very large powder

Nice slopes, but a little unsmart to add blue / red slopes to the cabins, especially when you have toddlers who have not learned to go on steep slopes yet. We have a cottage of 3 bedrooms 6 beds / sleeping places. Why are there basically ONLY shot glasses and barely ordinary drinking glasses so there is enough for everyone? The mattresses are also bad then, not even stuck to the beds, just go down the second you sit in bed. The workers in the slopes, young and unpleasant. My son of 10 years did not have time with the same lift as us and needed to go with another family. Felt quite unsafe that they do not help a toddler

Good but a transportation lift between west 6 and Gondolen would be appreciated

Worst ski resort I have been to lately. Poorly planned lift system that also has technical problems all the time. The gondola stood still 4 out of 6 days and when it does work you have to go up a long staircase! If you want to stand in lift queues go to Idre and do not expect to get any compensation!

Idre mountain does not have the capacity to receive so many alpine skiers. 2 days before New Year, it is windy but not very much. All chairlifts closed, and no drag lifts so you can get up to the next lift. The lift queues to the button lift and someone else were probably 1 hour. Despite the lift pass for 3K, we had to hike the hill up with the skis on the shoulder. Bet only on accommodation and nothing on us who like to go Alpine. 😡.

Sports holiday, beautiful weather but poorly groomed. For the price of the lift tickets, which are more than adequate, I expect that it is at least groomed helpfully.
We have been here quite a few years when there is a little of most things for the family but now it is probably the last time.
There is much to like about other companies whose business model is based on "an active family life" but when it crosses the line I am not prepared to pay the price.

Best skiing in Sweden with well groomed slopes that seem to hold better than elsewhere for some reason.

There are challenges in strong winds as the lift system is built with airborne lifts that normally ensure that the queues are short even during high season weeks, we have been here both Christmas, New Year and sports holiday weeks.

In my opinion, a more pleasant stay where Idre mountain has chosen a way forward without large restaurant or sports shop chains that are everywhere and instead chosen to have an independent sports shop with a good range and restaurants with a little different types of focus which I think gives a nice feeling of the facility.
