First of all, they close the lifts a quarter before closing it I think is really bad. Secondly, the cabins are badly cleaned. Ann's really good lifting system. the slopes are a bit short.

For all those who have had 30 years of crisis or suffered from health trends, there is always cross-country skiing, 1.8 blood testers ... I have tested half a meter thick with snow and it feels that my condition needs some long passes! Free and worth testing.

Fits the family perfectly. Go with all the accommodation right at the back. There is a ride in all the weather, and skis mountainous views of the Norwegian fjords and the städjan and nipfjället. Have been there in the spring season and then it may be bad with snow, but I read that they have better capacity so it's going to go twice as fast to snow. I think it's nice to go with the whole family, there is something for everyone with performances, cross country trails, hiking, snowmobiling and dog sledding. I prefer to go to Lenzerheide, but it's not possible to do every weekend and is not the favorite choice for mothers ...

After visiting Idre 2 times (2003 and now 2009) I have been farmed for this. So Idre is a very good family-family destination, I can probably say even if I'm not a parent. Many green long fine slopes that are always well groomed. The two 6-chair lifts are very good, but on the east side you get good seat lifts. Where you almost prefer to take the anchor lift. Pity on the cheeses is nice if you like black and red backs.
F. quite a few transport routes between lifts ... spec if you are going north or west to the east or vice versa.
The backs are good, but quite short if you want to go red and black want to say.

By the way, the restaurants are quite tired and quite sad. About the same half sad supply of food and relationship seems quite expensive I can enjoy. May have to do with the fact that everything in Idre Fjäll is owned by the same company, believes it is in the open air promotion and someone else probably.

Are you looking for afterski and party up to the small hours you can choose another destination. The view has coverband (and were the ones that became the best mood during my week 2009). But quite a small place and, as I said, worn out.

Nice scenery around is a plus.

I was at Idrefjäll v.9 09 and after reading a bit here on Freeride I decided not to have too much expectation.

When we were there, it snowed mixed with amazing weather and we got a total of about 30 cm of snow in the week.

slopes:
The backs are, just like many others already said quite short. If you want to go long hills there is also the possibility of it but then it will be the most blue and green slopes. What's good is that they were always well prepared in the morning when you got out of the hill. A hot morning tip is the northbacks where there are not very many people and good black and red backs. There is a fairly large ski school area for the beginners. The backs get up after an hour, but if you go a little offpiste or in the park, just pull it over. The best backs I thought was the Carvingsvängen with wonderful Manchester Riding and the Chock, the best-prepared hill on the whole idrefjäll.

Off-piste:
As I said, we got in addition to the 109cm, which already contained about 30 cm of snow, which made for a good off-piste skiing. It is easy to find good forest skiing and it was often untouched all the way, if you did not take the responsibility to go. The forest can be quite dense in its places, but it is possible to go to the next place everywhere. I'm not a direct vane offender so I can not say if it was extra hard or if it was easy but I went between black and red backs. My favsar is in the woods between Palmbacken and Mellanbacken on the north side and in the forest between Butter and the competition back. There is also more open terrain above the competition back and away from the shock. Here it starts to get really steep and the avalanche risk increases so I have not tested.

The park:
This year, Idrefjäll had to rebuild the park and make it bigger, more shapad and simply super clean. Have you succeeded? Well. I do not have a direct opinion about the blue-green park. With two sturdy bumps, two rough, three rails / boxes, it is good for small jibbers who will learn. In the jump you can do a 5a but not more if you are good.

The black-red park has good ideas with two black and two red jumps, a quaterjump and four rails / boxes. But good intentions do not bother all the way, unfortunately. The first encounter is a large hill, which is meant to climb upwards to speed up. When you are at the hill you can choose to take a good and long flat-down box or try to jump in the first jump. The box is doing well, but gaining momentum is an impossibility. Therefore, instead, people use first jump like plateau to others who are completely unkey. Quaterjumpet was closed when I was there but you can not do that unless you want to take a good leap. At the end of the park there are three different Rails / Boxes, which are also difficult to speed up. The park pours every night and shapas max once a week.

The halfpipe is good but unfortunately not pissed while I was there. Below the pipe there are two small jumps and a rail.

Plus:
- Well-prepared slopes.
- Offpiste when there is enough snow.
- Family friendly.
- Choking.
- Seat lifts.

Minus:
- Slightly too short slopes.
- parks
- No cottage.

Summary:
Idre is nothing for you who just want jibba in the park. Neither anything for you who love pillows. Nothing for those who want long steep slopes. But for those who think that the most skiing is fun and want a bit of each is good. Idre is a family place that also offers some tough challenges such as The shock.

Were in Idre v.2 and we had good weather on the one hand, but no sneezing, a bit of pity, but they can not be bothered at the resort. ___________________________________________________________________________________________

Very bad skiers in their case of difficult slopes
-PARK, could write a novel about all the bad ones with it. Hole in the landing, 3 meters kick with a small gap in the green line as well as knuckled rails. Black did not prepare them for the whole week we were there.
-Korta is backing up heavy lifts.

Conclusion:
Certainly fun if you are not all too advanced in your ride, but it does not really matter if you are advanced, but driving in all four weather conditions I will praise.

Bad destinations at the beginning of the season, where there were new years, many backs did not open and those who were open were over explored. Bad park, no edge markings or anything on the jump plus a huge bad landing! Small town with only a good après ski, although this was quite ok.

Opportunities for simple but fun top trips, the ride has a pretty good ride especially the start which is quite good.

Was there Christmas week 2008. Good with snow, and good quality on the snow, but not much more than that!
Sad backs, with many flat parties, okay on the cheese side, but there the elevator was so old and slow so why did you go to go there?
Super-heavy afterski, "Party Band" played. They may be able to focus on funeral positions in the future!
Can not recommend Idre to anyone, since both Lindvallen and Tandådalen are better, in all respects. Even closer, (for most) by about 10 miles.

Compared to competing ski resorts like Kläppen, Sälen, Stöten, etc., Idre Fjäll is really strong. It is better collected and there is always a side with sun and sun where you get a good ride.
It would be fun if it developed a little more and opened a top cabin.
Offpiste skiing gets you at Städjan where you can ride the car I think it will be west side and then go down.
A good facility that has the most both inside and outside the slope. Suitable for families with children and friends who are not looking for the Åre party. Very cross country skiing and other activities as well.

Soon it's winter and then Idre will be awesome again. There is something certain when you've been there several times and just longing for winter again so I'll be back. Will take a turn already in November, they will have cross-country skiing early. Heard that they save snow in the summer to 5 km. I probably need to get started even with the stacking technique in front of the vasalop, although it is more fun to burn the back or the stool. FIn top trip by the way, I can highly recommend. The backside of the nip mountain is supposed to be shady. Not to mention the kitingen on the nipfjälls platån.

Hope that the new park opened for Christmas when we went there, the girl would love it!
