Really family-friendly ski resort with good slopes, chair lift that goes all the way up to the top and good choice on slopes!
The accommodation is always near the slope, usually ski-in / ski-out and the cross-country tracks run around the mountain.
In short, a cruel ski destination for the whole family!

Family Mecca! Lifts and slopes in all the weather. Supremely effective with the accommodation around the mountain as well. There are good pistes even for "adults", eg "Competition" on the cheese side. However, it is the main focus on families with smaller children, who can easily get around in the system where there is usually a nice piste to choose if you do not dare.

A small bonus, however, with the "shock" that can give a really impressive ride the times it's open. Heavy tilt (48 degrees at the top) and sustained steepness. It is also a fairly impressive long hill to be so steep and in Sweden. However, it is rarely open, but you usually have to wait for Easter before it is ready. There is some afterki etc, but the party is clearly limited. Full focus on the toddler.

The world's best travel destination. A bit expensive at the restaurants but it is totally worth it

Idre Mountain is perfect for winter vacation at home. Directly from the cottage on the slopes and trails. Family friendly and nice service. Lovely swimming pool. Wonderful mountain scenery.

Idre is a really good destination regardless of season. A facility that has fun activities regardless of season.

Equally large system with lots of nice areas for snowmobiling and forest skiing.
Here the pulse in tea is as high as in Sälen, but for skiers, all accommodations have ski in / out an advantage.
There are accommodations of all sizes and price ranges.

Idrefjäll is a cozy resort with skiing for the whole family.
The cottages are nicely covered along the mountain, a part with ski in ski out which is appreciated if you want to park your car and do not keep on stooling on wearing cool boots ..
For those who do not have this opportunity, you can in most cases take the mountain to and from the cottage right up to the hill.

The mountain is divided in with steep ridge on the backside and a little flatter ride on the front.
I would highly recommend Idre for beginners and fairly advanced skiers looking for nice slopes to fancy the carvingsvängarna.

The large chairlift is able to jump off in two places. The first stop is halfway up and from the area you can take a button lift up to the children's area or go down to the children's country or the park.
If you sit still, you will come up to the top and can choose and wrap which blue, red and black runs.

There is afterski on the hill and at the hotel!

The cabin service is top, our drying cabinet broke the other day and we called, which resulted in them coming straight and replacing the whole cabinet against a new light and smooth.
Prices are market-oriented and you get value for money!

We were extremely lucky with the weather and could get some really good offpiste rides on the back and outside the slopes. The park is easy for beginners but may not be satisfactory for the more advanced jumper.

Good slopes, worse lifts. Idre has grown or built out of the ski system, making it difficult to get there. The lifts do not go up so you get up to get there. You get tired of the arms of a visit here. When we were staying, one chairlift broke down, which meant that half the mountain stopped, because this lift was the only one on that side. Sad. Lucky we just went for a short week. Should you design about the lift system, there is potential, but you would prefer to build a new lift somewhere than make sure the old ones go where they are going.

Idre has very steep slopes idre is the best in Sweden for me sport is not as crowded as the lindvallen. Lindvallen has only two slopes, but sports have real slopes
So do not go to the seal go to sport I live in sports

Minus. The slopes are more like a transport manager. Bad restaurants expensive and bad.
