Love it.

Has a cottage in Lofsdalen for six years. The best thing about Lofsdalen is that it is not so exploited and very rarely are queues. The system is large enough with a good drop of about 500 meters and nice longitudinal tracks. You get nice rides of about 3.5 km, which is rare in Sweden. In combination with the fact that there are a few people on the slopes, you can lie quite hard in the carving turns. There are some really steep slopes, but most are relatively easy to ride. Lofsdalen has a somewhat limited range v / s Sälen / Åre but on the other hand it is what is a bit charming. Here the focus is on nature and skiing.

Would like the family that owns sold the facility to an owner who wants to run it professionally and has the capital to put in. Today, unfortunately, much is missing regarding the operation of the ski slopes

Very nice place

Cozy village with good opportunities for both downhill skiing and length. Good deal in the middle of the village with normal prices. But as for the ski resort, you could wish for more! Stones protrude in some places on the steeper sections.
And the queues become unnecessarily long as the staff do not in any way get involved in how people ride in the chairlifts. Despite the pandemic, you do not have to exaggerate and very often you saw 6 chairlifts go up with 1 or 2 people .... Even though there were couples waiting behind. More than 2 places in between can not be needed then you have to stay at home!
You would also want a collaboration between slalom and cross-country skiing so that you could go cross-country with the same card with a small supplement if you buy a week. Now you have to pay SEK 90 / day if you just want to go a little turn with the cross-country skis in the evening, which means that you often give up .....

Genuine village in a real mountain world. Very good for those who want to ride both length and perform. Fantastic views from both Hovärken and Sömlingshågna. Child friendly.

Good fall height, long slopes and snow-sure. Cozy village with small shops and some restaurants. Full enough!

Mys mys MYS! First time in Lofsdalen and it's so cozy here! Very good ride where there is variety for everyone and a genuine place. Love the tranquility and cozy like shops.

Above expectations, and one of the better places I went to (in Sweden). Good drop height and several fun slopes. What is missing to give five stars is i) a restaurant up on the mountain ii) another lift in another part of the system (understood that there are plans for it).

Child friendly and beautiful! Thus good for families with children. As an adult, you can get some really good rides if you go right from the top. The fall height from which is clearly approved. Totally ok Ica in the village, has what you need.
