The lofsdalen is a great place for all kinds of riders. The backs are well groomed and wide, it can be better but as it is now it's a bad place. Will go here many times.

There is nothing that is as wonderful as the praise valley.
willing efforts they have made !! oh now in winter, Fjällhotellet, which after many years has left empty, opens .. hope they are doing well !! (do not hesitate a second that they are doing well!)
really funny that they have begun so much youngsters again again!

the old anchor fighters are about to be set up this summer .. it will go through the park o brevid ski crossing .. so now you do not have to go all the chairlift up if you go to the park .. !! big PLUS !!!

in about 3 years they will probably come back to the back of the hover oxa !! so you see what bets they are in BYN !!

Yes, I have lived here and lived here throughout my life. Yes, you can say so well that yes, you're not crazy about moving away from here !! do not spec now when they are built o happily so bad in the village .. !!

Since the New Year (omk) there is now a proud and big six-chair lift on the ground where the old trailer lifts once stood, a big plus. Finally!

The fun park has become better with newer designs, newer jumps and newer rails! It all starts to feel more professional than before! By the way, a ski crossing course has also been opened (h, h for the jumpback) it is in good condition but will certainly be upgraded to the next season!
Lofsdalen is on the edge and I hope all of you others will help and just as I support their new engagement, so that it will last for later!

Where are you going to look up the old anchor rails for example?
Maybe more backs will open? Maybe the back?
be fun with kit courses too!

Long live Lofsdalen - continue to develop and renew!

Lofsdalen gets 4 in the rating of 5. There is much better but Lofsdalen has its special charm, many varied possibilities for a nice experience! big + comes with the new development more plus is added if it continues !!!

Lovely Härjedalen ... I have been to the lofsdalen 5 times. Both with and without children. The place is generally quite ok with regard to skiing. The slopes are usually in good condition, and relatively sparsely populated (you do not have to queue down anyway). There are creative offpiste opportunities when there is a lot of snow, your sides take a lot of pressure if you go on the poppy fields without snow. The birches begin to take a lot of space so you have to be able to go really well to go offpiste to the left of the top. Palles is a very beautiful scratch (the same is a lot of snow).

Bad with toilets in the back can be a problem with young children !!

The heating house built of old buildings, really bad standard. Expensive and boring!

The ski school is badly good, my bad luck has become good at this gang. The children's skiing is a cannon! Some long blue floor floors to learn. Evening skiing is highly appreciated by my children anyway.

The facility would be good to build on the north side of Hovvärken, there are possibilities! The old long lifts can be reused there. It may be a bit traditive to add 7 ski days in Lofsdalen. With day trips to Ramis, it takes about 1.5 hours to get there, but it may be worth it.

Nightlife does not exist, it will be a little afterski that's it!

Karin Sportbod is recommended for equipment rental, good, nice and knowledgeable staff. a bit less stress there than at the plant.

For the new offspring family this is perfect, because the boy is totally wrong.

I myself like cross-country skiing, then growing still sets!

Lofsdalen is one of those places you just do not believe is anymore. % 0 miles from Stockholm there is a hill with a full height of 500 meters. Telemark skiing of the highest grade and off-piste rides on the back of the Hovärken that satisfy most. In addition, skiing and snowmobiling can be added as no facility south of Funäsdalen comes close to. Winter fishing is a cannon and mountain experience and nature is magnificent. The peaks are only around 1200 meters, but this, combined with the Lofsdalen's open landscape and vast expanses, gives a combined mountain feeling, which has to be considerably further north to experience. Best of all, all of this is remarkably untouched. Why? The answer to this is probably because most mountainists today give a thousand if the scenery is magnificent, the fall height is 500 or 200 meters and the quality of the scooter and lane racing. The important thing for the masses in the mountains today is the number of artificial activities for children, the number of pubs in walking distance, the number of shopping centers, etc. What I do not understand is that you do not place your "mountain holiday" to Hammarbybacken. The difference between mountain feel there and in Sälen is hard and the range of pubs and shopping is enormous.

Do not miss the crossing in Lofsdalen. The best tracks are the best you can get on cross-country skiing. The Petersson Trail and Hovärken are superb. Avoid the trails down in the village. The east and elljus track are sadly boring. Milen can be accepted when the weather does not allow the ride further up. However, the best ride has not yet been tracked in Lofsdalen. A trail on the heights towards Digervålen and preferably around the top would probably be among the best you can find in Sweden. The lowest point would be 840 meters, which almost guarantees minuses. In spite of the height, most of the nature is protected by sparse mountain birch forest, which makes it not so easy again. Best of all, though, this trail would offer enormous views of Lofsdalsfjällen, Idrefjällen, Norwegian mountains, Sånfjället and up to Helags. The problem is just that you do not really seem to understand the long-haul potential in Lofsdalen. I often go to Lofsdalen often and like it, and I think it's great fun to start seriously taking advantage of the potential in the slope. However, the potential for cross-country skiing is even greater but you do not understand that. Lofsdalen has huge cross-country skiing in the higher parts, but really bad and boring skiing down the village, which does not always tell the guests. A cross-country fighter who falls down at the mountain resort with his accommodation will be disappointed. Up with them to the upper parts of Uppvallen where they have an unbeatable accommodation for cross country skiing.

Lofsdalen has potential just like previous commentators, so you keep to freeze in a helmet when you travel the long lifts. Will be very good with a seat lift. Should also focus on scattering the mountain birches on some sides of the mountain. Not too much it will still feel a bit wild. Have had really good skiing days when there was a drop. Then you can have the whole top for yourself 1.5 days. Little smart changes and praise can be top.

Lofsdalen ...
a very nice ski destination for both you who like family backpacks, offpiste tracks and steep gods.
usually when you are on the so-called peak, you have a view of the whole praise and view to the Norwegian border. what makes Lofsdalen a big minus is the two sled lifts, the long one and two more than five minutes to take them and there is always a damn mass lift queue because it's the only lifts that are available to get to the little better and steeper slopes. but once you have taken one of the two lungs, you have not reached the top end.
BUT, for the season 2006/2007, it will be premier for the long-awaited sex chair lifts that will take the long lifts location. The rumor's owner that the two long lifts should be moved to the back, wrote the Swedish newspaper this winter in an interview with the praise hall known as boss or what to say.
If they now move the two laces to the back then it will be good to have at least three new brants.

They build a chairlift in Lofsdalen until next season 06-07. The lift will replace the Long lifts and end just above the Long I. The long lifts will later be put out elsewhere in the system.
This will be a big boost for Lofsdalen, which has very good slopes, but has missed that seatlift. The long lifts are awesome.

Lofsdalen with children

If you have children with you, the assessment of ski resorts is a bit different ... The distance from the playground to the toilet suddenly becomes as important as falling altitude and lift capacity.

Lofsdalen has great potential to become a Swedish-style, excellent family ski resort. Fall height is good and the slopes are very nice. There are nice tough slopes while the bottom of the mountain offers long blue carving slopes. The next season is planned a new 6-chair lift that is absolutely necessary to bring people up to the system - now there can be proper queues at the "square" while it is quite empty up at other lifts.

Now that you build a lift, you can take care of and improve something else (see the children's perspective):

-The entrance to the heating cabinet / fixed with two 30 cm stairs without railings, and a door sweeping away people from the top step is undoubtedly the biggest limp back in the lofsdalen. Rebuild!

The pulse cacks that are lined with hard overadrassed pines in the outer curve should be made more child-friendly.

-He needs a dedicated baby lift to. Now it's going to be difficult when the ski school is running.

-The lifting of the button lifts is not always included in the notes when it comes to helping wise children / parents. In addition, you get help after it really is needed.

- And so this with the toilets. Running 150 meters uphill in pants with kissed 3 years under the arm from the playground to the toilet queue in the heater is not fun. Build more toilets adjacent to the playground / ski rental.

-Fitted in the heater has good buns and Viennese bread but is well paid. 15 kr for 2 dl festis!

-The solution with sausage kiosk on the outside of the fig that forces customers to force the above-mentioned staircase with the hands full of french fries and sausage when they want to go in and eat do not feel completely thought out ...

I really can not judge the quality of the park but when we were there, it looked very well-kept.

The staff is very nice and the ski school is doing a top job.

Loffsdalen has potential, spec with a new lift, but you have a lot else to work on too. If you do, Lofsdalen will probably be one of the best family locations in Sweden.
