Surprisingly, several backs are closed V9 when it's most people / customers. Have not been there during my 40 years at various ski resorts. 2 of 3 black slopes closed ... and also some red. Several warnings for stones in the piste but unfortunately more stone than warnings. The place is not taken seriously!
Evening skiing at your own risk as the lighting is under all criticism!

Short lift queues. Can understand it, me and my family will not be able to get there again.
In addition to two new chairlifts, the development has stood still in Lofsdalen.

Bad undecided, no difficult slopes. On the other hand, a glass cage on top, which is not open to everyone. Humor.

Lofsdalen is clearly the best option if you want to ski and hang out with family and friends. Now there is also a 6-seat lift with wind protection to the top. And in December, Skybar on top will be completed. Toilets are located at Restaurang Hovärken next to the Long Express and in the heating cabin.

It is a small Swedish ski resort with all that means. Comparing it with Branäs, Idre, Hovfjället. The slopes are not as hard as claimed and the snow report is VERY optimistic. It might be right at first, but after several days of dawn when stones start to appear, it remained at 35cm.

The lift system worked well and the chair lift on top was only closed when it blew a lot.

What was I saying (below) about the plexi hood with wind on express chairs. Went there this weekend (spring winter, sunshine), for 3 days, the Top Express had 2 days open and 1 full day closed (20m / si towns at the top of the morning, but after lunch only 8 - and yet closed, all the chairs in garage). The pistil is a bit mixed, some backs great, but a couple of slopes at the top most "cool off-piste".

Someone should make sure to coordinate the place. There are 3 receptions. And everyone closes too early (for weekend visitors ...) I paid in the village, but got the lift card etc. up in the ski room. Etc.

Acc. The web was all open every day but in reality 2 bar lifts are constantly closed, plus of course the Poma lift the days Top Express works. The double black back (pistle 18) snowy and closed. They only get a weak 4th this time, although the view on the Norwegian Rondane and the Jämtland mountain world, plus the fall height, plus the value for money, plus the new Top Express were all outstanding.

I was up last weekend, March 13-16, and regarding the "IT-MILAN" mentioned the new chairlift as a "pilot project", there was no problem at all. It blew really during Friday afternoon and all Saturday, but the elevator went on all the time. In addition, it was hardly noticeable that the windshield was folded down so sharply! A really good investment in other words!
Then they have one of the old and worn button lifts in case they would not be able to drive a new lift.

Perfect conditions, whether you're looking for manchester in the slopes or a meter of powder snow in the terrain. Best so far!

Of course, you'll need a ski when you read on their website (right now in October, not at all as seeeg as before):
"The 6-chair lift, which will be Lofsdalen's second 6-chair lift, is extra wind-protected for maximum comfort and wind protection. The lift will start construction in June and should be ready for use by winter 2013. It is pleasing that the top of the magically beautiful Hovärken mountain will now be easily accessible to all our skiers, says the CEO"

Chairs with plexiglass are great, but the Magic Mountain is a bare mountain where the wind blows. The places that torment people with chairs without wind protection say that the sensitivity to wind is precisely the reason why they did not get one. So the second 6 chair will be a bit of a pilot project, you can always hope that the CEO gets it more right than the other locations - but preferably write a line here as soon as you ride the new lift, and especially if you missed interruptions in windy weather weather.

That "Harald W" seems to be a very narrow-minded person.
He has certainly only been in Lofsdalen at one point and his description does not exactly match the way Lofsdalen is and actually looks.
I've just heard the same thing as "Mattiasborg" mentions, with the lake being regulated and that you can not take as much water from the lake to a certain level. And of course you spend the most of the amount before and at the beginning of the season.
Hovärken (Lofsdalen) is one of the mountains with the highest fall height in Sweden, it is well Åre, Kittelfjäll and one more place that has higher. The mountain has something to offer to most and I think that you have used the mountain well in terms of slopes. Mr. Harald mentions the opposite which I disagree with. It is rather nice that there are no slopes everywhere, but there are areas for nice skiing outside the piste, both on the calf mountain and further down the woods (there are some really nice places). But it is clear that if you are Mr.Harald you only want to have pisted slopes all over the mountain in 10 degree slopes.

Lofsdalen is a nice place with good skiing and there are not so many people here as in some other places. Which may be nice, especially when it comes to the lioness that is often quite lonely about Lofsdalen. No cushioning directly ..

The cross is apparently not to get water from the lake. Do not remember if there is a stop after a certain date or when reaching a certain level on the water. The lake is well regulated with any power station ...
