This popular alpine ski resort is located in western Austria, close to the border with Italy. The resort has a total of 22 slopes, 21 lifts and a maximum vertical drop of 1,1640,4 feet. If you take the lift at the very top of the mountain, you can get a really spectacular view, up here you stand at an altitude of 3,689 feet.
To get guaranteed snow, it is best to visit the Stubaier Glacier from October to April. At the end of the season, it is not uncommon to see a snow depth of 220 centimetres. When you want to vary your skiing, you can try the ski resort's fine cross-country skiing trails, the longest of which is five kilometers.
