I was in Val Thoréns during week 2. Better skiing can be found. We got a day down there who strikes most in skiing. It snowed about 50 cm during the night and splashed up and became a sunday late. We took the Mount Vallon lift up and went partly in the piste and offpiste. Became the best skiing I've ever had.

Out of life, nothing is wrong either. 2 places were good. Underground and El Gringo. Even after skin is good. But that could have been better.

What's the cash with ValThorens ??

The village could be a bit cozy. Try a relaxing afterski on Fitz Roy! Saso. 2001 will be loaded with sun and snow !!

You who have not been here go here and get a real bell ski holiday!

Cruel pistoling but unfortunately it was snowing a little while I was there. If there was more snow, the offpiste possibilities would have been very good. However, it is a popular ski resort so you may be up early one day after snowfall. The lifts are very fast and comfortable, a good detail as there are a lot of people in the resort.

The area is actually called the "Three Valleys" and is considered to be one of the world's largest ski areas. The area is so big that you could certainly go for a whole week without having to go back twice. Because the area is built together, it does not matter whether you live in Val Thoréns, Meribel or Mottaret. If you have traveled to the "Three Valleys" then there is a must, and it is to try a hill called Campagnol and descend from Mount Vallon. It is ranked as one of the top three in the world and has literally everything. In addition, the road takes twice as much as the lift up and it is not directly spoiled by the Swedish mountains. Another tip is to take the back of Cime de Caron down, which if you are lucky you can give a great long and good cushion, but beware of avalanches.

Be in the torrential to Easter, even as late as the end of April the snow was absolutely amazing! The village was not so nice but what does it do when skiing and nightlife can not be much better !!

Like old breeds, I want to certify that the 3 valleys beat everything else in the case of slopes. The double-legged 1400-meter fall down to Meribal tex can offer a yummy super G. Long air traffic is the only important minus. The letter piste is all possible as I experienced it.

Be in Val Thorens v.9. There is simply perfect! Sunshine snow and an hour of cool nightlife. Off-piste in lots of wonderful powder snow. The shops were not too bad either. Have never been in a better place! Everything worked and the after ski place Ski Rock cafe is to be recommended. There it's service and atmosphere! I will of course go to Val Thorens next year again ....

Val Thorens stands in a class by itself!
I was in Chamonix last week, and certainly, it was beautiful skiing and we were lucky with the weather and it was fun on the nightlife - but it was not even close to Val Thorens!
Have been there twice, and will go there many times ... If you are looking for good skiing, that is, unlimited off-piste ... then V.T is the best choice !! Nightlife is also alright!

Was there an Easter week-98 ... absolutely wonderful !! Unbelievably easily accessible off-piste-I probably did not go on a regular ride more than a few times !! The sunshine and after a couple of hours of driving we settled down at the restaurant in the middle of the hill, where there was a beer and grilled baguettes and sun loungers !! Agree that if you have been there you do not want to go anywhere else, Val Thorens is simply too good. Big plus to the minimum lift queues and the fact that the system is so big that most of the slopes never get caught up!
I'll go there and "bummar" a season !!
