Romme Alpin reviews (Page 11)

Ski resorts in Sweden
What do you think about Romme Alpin?

Romme Alpin, a ski resort that I visited / visit on several occasions each year. If you're a 'advanced' rider looking for excitement, you've got a bad mistake. The concept is okay, you have invested in the most necessary ie resturang, ski shop etc etc ... The slopes are no fault at all, the staff is taking care of the facility. This is a good '' warmup '' before any major trip to more advanced ski resorts. I'm going here for ambush only, charge a little before it's time to go for bigger goals. In the hill there is a bad attempt to a funpark, ie some occasional jumps ... But good enough for those who do not master the skis / boards all the arts yet. To summarize Romme Alpin, I can strongly recommend Romme for '' practice '' before major adventures, or for those who want a wonderful day in the back and last but not least the family. Very good ride, however, given the geofragical situation. In my case, living in Östergötland.
Prices have gone up in recent years, but are still cheaper than Sälen, Åre and others

Romme Alpin gets 3 out of 5 sticks of mine!
Well worth a visit.

Romme is a pretty nice ski resort for day trips. The backs are pretty simple in my opinion, went on a black hill and it was the first day of the season and I still thought it was sick easy. This year they seem to have the ambition to build a better park too, unfortunately, the jumps are strangely built. Took eagerly with speed but still felt like I landed flat.
They have also expanded the reason for a new ski area that was quite ok (saw barely due to the fog but but)

+6 chair lift
+ parkbyggarambition
+ friendly staff who will help you when the lift passes.

-konstigt bygd jump in a relatively flat hill.
-little park.
-reated aunts like jidders in the elevator queue.

Been there today for the first time and the facility is quite ok given the geographical location.
In comparison with ex plants in the seal, Romme is better than ex Kläppen.
Diversity of slopes and variation in each piste is a definite plus for Romme.
Then you can dismiss how far Black is Black or not?
If you like brighter challenges, there are only 2 options / slopes to choose from.
Göstas Brant and Solstinget have a slope that starts well but flakes at the end.
Then I personally think that they are more red than black in their character.
In this case Kläppen has better pressure in its Black slopes.
For families with children, this is a very good facility to start with.
The price may be a bit high, but it is worth considering the geographical situation :)
For those who want offpiste-funpark or a little more pace in the ride, this is no facility to recommend.

You have lived on this hill since 2 years old and feel more home than my own room. It's not big, not very nice but good quality. Good piste on the slopes and okay, hope for such a small place,

+ 6-chair lifts
+ good pistachio
+ most snow cannons in Sweden
+ Toppstugan

-private prices in the top cabin
-little park
-2-chairlift

what a "better seat lift". That's the best one you can get. But Romme, get a better park on maybe the snow mountain.

I was there with school over a day. The park is safe and the slopes are slippery. Great place to train for any major trip, for example. Alps. The food was okey but expensive. There were quite a few slopes and the lifts were good.

Yes, then, Romme. It's a nice one-night stand-place if I'm going to sum it up (do not misunderstand). Nice cottage, and nice backs. The new ski area (Snöberget, located in Romme Syd) is awesome! The new 6-chair lift will take you there in just a minute! Dreampark - It's not the best, but something for beginners. Build a little on Dreamarken and Romme will be perfect!

++ Fast lift ticket distribution / Ski rental
++ Many slopes
+ Many lifts
+ Small lift queue

- Bad (beginner) dreamsheet
- May be full of school classes

So my rating will be: 4 - Cruel (out of 5 = World class)

    + good food
    + Chairlift

-the least jump, can not even call them hope
    -Rail is completely useless
-3 jump and a rail to they are called "park"
-All damn sthlmare who can not jump over the jump so they carry the fiercest pitfalls plus they swing in the jump so they are kind of a bump behind the landing for the so-called jump.

So yes, if you just want to buy slalom, but if you want to park, you should not go there!

Positive with rumors is that the slopes are nice .. is not much more positive ...
The negative is that they are trying to build a "Park" but they turn out to be completely worthless. Some small bumps and a box of boxes. They have achieved a single jump a year, as good, but after each firing, the jump is getting worse and worse. So you want to park, do not go to room ..

Roger out, Peeayz!

Where to start? Romme is a ski resort that survives on all school classes that go there. Do not know why everyone goes there, but it's iaf.
It usually happens when there is a lot of people, relatively long queues, but they are still relatively fast. The slopes look pretty similar and they have no park. But there is something with Romme that is cozy. There is a little cozy feeling on the slopes that makes you want to go there again.
Should they fix a park and a better chairlift they would not have to live on school classes anymore :)

Over and out
