A great ski resort with challenging skiing for everyone, depending on knowledge.
Beginner area for black pistes.
A facility that is efficient when making snow. Large amounts of snow in a short time, so many slopes can be opened at the same time.
If you want to enjoy manchester skiing, it is recommended to be early on the hill, as it gets crowded quite quickly by sledding (not carvanding) skiers.
However, recommend this facility to satisfy ride requests in 1-2 days.

We go to Romme with the family at least twice a year and it's always nice, especially now that the area has been developed with good lifts. There are plenty of slopes for both beginners and experienced and restaurants easily accessible but parking is always a problem. Now we have had to wait in line to leave the ski area for at least 45 minutes twice in a row. There are people who are actually supposed to conduct who do nothing. The parking lot is large and can accommodate many cars, which is great, but the fact that the workers are so incompetent that they can't even make sure that every other car gets out and that at least a whole row of cars is allowed to stand still for such a long time is something I can not understand. Why have people working if they do nothing. We like Romme very much as it is so close to where we live and you don't have to travel as long as you would have if you visited Sälen instead. It has always been nice staff and a nice stay, which means that you are disappointed when, after a long day, you have to stand in a car queue until half past five when the hill closes at three.

Visited Rome on two occasions this winter.
a great place with a good lift system.
two chairlifts that pump people up the mountain from down in the center square. good headroom for being so far south.
nice places to eat both down in the valley and up on the mountain.
Something I miss are vending machines for picking up lift tickets
but well worth visiting this facility.

Pleasant hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast buffet, good dinner buffets with varying themes.

I had trouble with one of the bindings on my snowboard that was about to break. I went to the workshop next to the ski rental and they fixed it in no time, they only charged SEK 50 for material costs. Of course it could have been more expensive if it was a more serious fault, but I was still very happy with the service.

Although Romme has many pistes, there are really only two or three that I really like. Well, why should the others be allowed to downgrade? I give 5/5 to the ones I like!

Very good food and I recommend the Mexican buffet, the service staff is the best and has been very helpful and kind, I recommend it

Good facility with a good distance from the Stockholm area.
The top with the chairlifts and variety of slopes for both young and old.
Well maintained and well pisted slopes.
The breakfast takes a long time, which made the day easier for maximum riding.
- The big minus was that at the hotel children were running around with elephant feet and screaming long after 10 pm with no response from staff after a couple of evenings.
The playground closed at 21 but in general there is no governance of any form of golden rules.

Relatively expensive lift tickets, short slopes and lots of people. People go here because it is a short distance from the cities around Stockholm, Örebro and Karlstad.

That it is a well-developed lift system is noticeable on the slopes, to say the least.
