Branäs reviews

An old man's weekend in Branäs in early March. The last time I went here was 1999 and oh what things have happened.

+Many nice slopes. Mattesgapet is a nice addition. Nice with a slope that goes straight in the fall height. Unfortunately, many other slopes go at an angle. Storbacken is mostly nice in theory.

+Good lift system. Smooth accommodation in the lodge.

-Lots of people. Some slopes feel thrown out in a residential area.

Great staff and ski school, clean and tidy and perfect slopes for the family!

Good accommodation close to the piste. But poorly groomed slopes, which meant that two out of three days it was to go on ice, with snow piles along the edges. If you are used to it, it is hard. Which is a shame on such a nice facility.

Nice to stay on the slopes and ski trails nearby so you can combine slalom and cross-country. Unfortunately, you can not buy a lift pass for half day or for two hours. So going on the long run went away. And then there will be a queue up and queue down. 😕

Very nice place!

Very child-friendly, our children love it. Even for us who are regular skiers, the slopes are very suitable.

Too child friendly, no good off piste and short slopes. They have like two red slopes and a black one that is like a red and short. Long lift queues and it is not worth it to go to Branäs! The only thing that saves it is that it is close to Gothenburg. The drop is perfectly ok but I will never go to Branäs again!!! Go to Åre, Hemavan or Bydalsfjällen, which have a selection of steep slopes and good drop height!

V 13 -2025. Nice area, good accommodation and skiing for the whole family. I think they have succeeded very well after the conditions with the facility. A couple of bottlenecks that are quickly discovered and can cause some problems but otherwise very little to complain about. The only thing I can think of was that a couple in the travel company rented skis and it was very aged, I think you can expect new models at a facility of this size.

Very service minded staff, hats off to them, from lift to restaurant, both for adults and children. Very good facility. Highly recommend.

Best facility I have been to! Great service, always happy and helpful staff. Very nice slopes and short lift queues, good après ski!
