Agree with much of the criticism Branäs has had to endure, but will try to share our picture. (Family) Branäs has no "mountain feeling". It is built up with cabin areas on the entire mountain, which makes it feel like you are skiing in a large villa area with pistes. On the other hand, here is the opportunity to live really close to the piste, step straight out if you so wish. Can be convenient, and something you should take advantage of if you want to go to Branäs.
The slopes have a lot of transport distances here and there, you have to drag the boys around, put them forward. Many descents are narrow, quite poorly pisted in general. Because the slopes are narrow, there is no fun tricking the children can ride on the edges. No open calf mountain with the feeling of riding a little freely on large widths.

Still fun on the whole. We were there at 10, no queues in the lifts, it was just a ride. Felt like there was a lot of riding. Actually, it's not so bad that there are so many button lifts everywhere, you always bring the kids up with you. Mattesdalen is nice with slightly steeper descents. Solid schedule for children. Mascots, free juice, evening skiing every evening, made the holiday all in all quite ok. But to go here on a holiday. Never in my life. The lifts can handle the capacity but not the slopes.

I think you should be able to build some slopes to get wider slopes.

Rebuild the park again like it was like in 2014 bigger hope please! you don't fly anything and people who just go and are in the way can go on another hill! otherwise you have to make 2 parks again so children can be in a smaller park and if they can't go, they don't have to test because people won't hurt yourself! and it's not just children who ride there, there are slightly more advanced skaters too who want to learn tricks to be able to get better, so don't just think of children, rebuild the park to bigger jumps and have an age limit! was much better before, to take tbx Railsen and not just pvc and boxes

The new lift is a welcome new addition

We started going to Branäs when the children were small (8-9 years ago) and have been there for a week basically every year since then. Now there will never be another trip to Branäs. Actually, we should have stopped 3-4 years ago. An incredible amount of construction has been done during this time, but the piste system has not been expanded at all. The slopes are completely run up after only an hour or so and then it's ice rink with hump run for the rest of the day. It's really unbelievable how the slopes can hold as badly as they do in Branäs. Once upon a time it was really good here but now it's just been disappointing every time you've been there. Choose any other facility, but don't go to Branäs!

We, a group of 9 people, three of whom are young people, spent a short week in a cabin in Branäs week 8, i.e. during the sports holiday.

The cabin in the Lohyllan area was cozy and suited us well. Check-in/check-out worked smoothly. The kitchen was good with all the equipment you need. Unfortunately, the internet did not work in the cottage.

We experienced that many slopes are a bit narrow in relation to the amount of people on the slopes. The queue time in the lifts was mostly short, with the exception of the Sjöexpress where you usually had to queue for quite a long time. It's sad that most of the slopes were quickly run up and after lunch the skiing was not as fun as in the morning.

The stay is overall to our satisfaction, but we feel that three skiing days in Branäs is enough to discover the area. A few more descents (preferably some more red) would be needed.

If the cottage had not been so cozy and functional for us, the final rating would have been three stars instead of four.

Really not happy with branäs. Don't go here if you snowboard, really not snowboard friendly, bad slopes, kids and idiots all over the slopes

Bad pistachio. Lousy food at the restaurant. Rude waitresses and an idiot elevator host who throws snowballs at guests. Absolutely incomparable. This is reported !!! Never again Branäs

We had a burglary in the apartment we rented, so their digital code lock solution seems to work that way.

I have been riding in branäs since I was 2 years old. best place in the world!!!!!!!!
