Ski resorts in Sweden
What do you think about Stöten?

Is here now. Do not ski myself this year but husband and children are very happy with the ride. Top accommodation in Stöten mitt. Really like the concept of apartment hotels where you do not go straight into the cold. Sad that the gym, sauna and more are closed but it is due to the pandemic…

But agree that the website should be updated. In addition, it is very strange that Mountain lodge and especially the restaurant are not mentioned at all on the website. Disappointed to find that there was no pizza here - but it did! Scrumptious! Guess it has to do with the fact that they are independent of Stöten, but for the sake of the guests it should be possible to agree.

Then it is interesting with Soltorget's upcoming lodge but the ski resorts should understand that more beds only means more congestion on the slopes… not much to brag about…

So disappointed with the accommodation that it detracts from everything else! We had mice in our "luxury" cottage! So many awful that you had to vacuum all the feces every time you were away from the cottage! Careless staff at the reception when complained about it so very unpleasant! Too bad considering that there is quite a lot on offer for a family with children! But unfortunately the accommodation drags down all that stuff due to the fact that it is unhygienic, unpleasant and knowing that you have so many mice in a cabin and that it is totally ignored by the staff

Great ride for the whole family - once you have managed to get a lift pass. But honestly, is it Sweden's worst booking site or? So full of bugs and incoherent flows that you can get free play for less. Guests are added to the booking but it is not possible to add cards to them, dates in 2022 could not be selected in the date selector, lift passes are activated one day too early, etc. It has been just as bad for several years and they do not seem to have any plans to deal with the criticism.

Are returning skiers to Stöten and this review refers to when the entire system is open (despite the pandemic).
The shock has Sälenfjällen's most varied ride, longest slopes and highest fall height (take just that with the fall height with a pinch of salt) to be proud of, which means that the whole family and ski-accustomed friends have their appetite satisfied. Grandma's downhill run and its length invite to wonderful carving training while Älvan challenges the most stubborn piste race! Rarely any major queue times at the lifts, even if it can accumulate during the sports holiday weeks, but not in the vicinity of the queues found in, for example, Lindvallen.
The development potential is enormous and it will be exciting how the requirements / wishes from us returning guests are met? Will there be a chairlift by Älvan and Näcken? How will the new Ski lodge at Soltorget be? Will the range of entertainment increase or is it for skiing that you visit Stöten ?!

We were there for the sports holiday 2020 and had a good time. The weather was good just over two days. The skiing was great for the whole company which consisted of a beginner mother, an experienced father and two experienced children 8 and 9 years. The long green hill is great for having time to file on the technology for a while without having to directly ride the lift again. We lived in the piste village by Stötentorget, which meant that we had to cross to Soltorget. It is quite important to live by the sun square if you travel with children and beginners. Lift staff was good. One of the children went to ski school and she and I were very happy with it.

What really reduces the impression is the quality of the restaurants, the prices and the time it takes to get food. The waffle house was the worst of all.

Have been to Stöten several times both with the children when they were younger and now as adults and we love it ❤️ Many good slopes in different heights and lengths and fun skiing in Vargyskogen even as an adult 😂😂 Top restaurants and après ski and accommodation at will.

Fantastic mountain world with Sälen's most beautiful views, very varied snow skiing and very competent and welcoming staff. Our family has been going to Stöten for many years and there will probably be many more. It is very gratifying to see that the ski resort is growing and expanding with better accommodation so there is something for every wallet. Piste areas have become more for each year we come up.
Very good that it is so close to Norway and Trysil and the new airport. Worth visiting during the summer as well and taking a canoe trip.

Varying rides. Suitable for everything from advanced skiers to beginners. The river must be Sälensfjällen's most beautiful hill.

Really boring overpriced accommodation in Kronobyn. Tired, boring cottage with more shortcomings. The cottage was described as normal standard but was not. Bad response from reception in case of complaints. Far to transport lift. Uninteresting ski area with worse piste slopes than Skistar. Cross-country skiing only in the mountains with a lift up with a small amount of snow.
