First and last time we go here. Absolutely not child friendly if you want to stay in a cabin then you need a car and drive the children to the slopes. It is absolutely not Ski in ski out as they write

Totally ok place. When you read the reviews, however, I note that you need to hire people who can ward off any wind, angry lift police and dirt. We must have been lucky to have a good time. Despite everything. 😄

Cozy area with complete offer. Many accommodation options, good service, several restaurants with good food and varied pistes suitable for different ages and with different degrees of difficulty.

First time in Stöten and we were a family of three who were very satisfied. Biggest star to the staff, from restaurants to staff in lifts, reception, ski rental, ski school and private instructors. Nice slopes and good accessibility regardless of level. Some remark on Stöten Mitt, missing info in the room and stressed cleaning staff on arrival. It would have been appropriate to mark out parking spaces based on room numbers so that guests park close to their accommodation.

Love Stöten and have been there many times, preferably several times per season.
The children love Soltorget and the slopes around it. Mostly lives in Stöten Mitt. Certainly a bit worn, but a perfect accommodation for four. Ski in Ski out and close to everything at a good price. Good slopes for all levels. Preferably go in low season to avoid standing in the lift queue. Best place with reasonable distance from Gothenburg.

Very nice facility. Good accommodation, nice slopes. Accommodating staff. Excellent après ski, Calle's backing band was very good! Very convenient with a small grocery store in the area as well. We are very pleased! Thanks!

Töten used to be a good facility that also had the tow lifts open when windy. Now, probably for cost reasons, the facility shuts down the lifts as soon as they get the chance, especially the chairlifts, which creates lift queues as the ski resort has been heavily developed but the skiing product has not been developed to the same extent. This is a trend since many years - closed and troublesome lifts, which is also reflected by the reviews below if you look a little at the history. This is not a weather-related phenomenon at all - Today, for example, the remaining seals have lifts open to the top. The bump doesn't even open up a tow lift at the ski square that goes halfway up the mountain, resulting in no skiing other than on button lift-served children's slopes. Not worth going here if you don't expect not to ski on your skiing holiday a few days during your week.

First time I'm in the bump. Have been to most well-known ski resorts in Sweden and have been several times in both other seals and trysil. So now about the shock! The ride itself is clearly approved with good descents, the forest is sparse, even in the slightly steeper parts. If you're lucky with the snow conditions, you can probably have a lot of fun.

However, everything ends well there, we lived in an apartment in Pistbyn. It was perfectly fine, but the cleaning was poor, dirty dishes and the kitchen was strangely organized. The parking outside was poorly organized.
The staff on the lifts have been nice, but when you have had contact with restaurants and guest services, the treatment is a bit strange.
It has been on the snowy and tired side, which is very sad.
You have to order food via an app, collect the food, leave the counter and then you are asked if you want to leave a tip.
Evening skiing has to be paid extra for.

The lift situation is also a bit special where wc express hardly has any queue at all. But seems to be quite shaky when it comes to reliability. Almost all slopes accessible from wc express are black. If you ride with beginners or children, you need to gravitate towards the vargy express where the lift line can be brutal. There is a tow lift there that goes to the top at that area, but it's every other anchor and button. There they want that if you go alone, you should go with a button and two, then you go at anchor.

Spontaneously, many things feel a bit strange compared to many other ski resorts in Sweden. Then not in a charming and unique way.
But rather inexplicable and complicated.

Was in Stöten week 9. The cabin was the nicest we rented and the slopes were good with skiing that suited everyone in the party. The ski instructor was great!

The information regarding most things was rubbish, the cleaning of the cabin as well. The level of knowledge and service of the staff was also not top notch. The rental was messy with waiting time even though we pre-booked. Going out for night skiing but discovering at the first lift pass that night skiing is not included in the insanely expensive lift tickets really lowered the impression. On the one hand, it is stingy and on the other hand, it should be clearly stated so that you don't have to discover it on the hill.

Insane lift queues due to closed lifts and general failure/undersized lift capacity drags down considerably. Unfortunately, we will not be back, at least not during high season.

We have visited Stöten during the sports holiday and stayed at the apartment hotel.
Everything was great, from the accommodation, to the slopes, the staff, range of services, proximity to everything.
Highly recommend! We will be back again next year.
