Lovely that there is a place in Sweden where you are welcome even if you are only 2 and do not want to live in a cottage.
The Son loved the parks and since most of the slopes are centered, one can choose different ways down. The parallel was wonderful and well-ventilated. Good elevator staff who often had a happy commentary to me. What goes down the grade is: the inadequate maps for cross-country skiing. Successfully drive quite different tours than I thought of the yellow track and the long queues to the long lifts. Would be good if there were more options to get from the Sun Square backs to the WC back than the "long button "

Has been in Stöten a total of 10-15 times over the years. Both private and with work. Doubtful if there are more times. Skiing 1-2 times and luckily I will go to the Alps a week soon so I can have a good skiing holiday.

Impact:
Good snowboard school and quite fun park but there ends all praise. We chose to leave Stöten one day in advance which was nice!
Old lifts that are very slow and, in addition, stay several times per trip. We want to go skiing and not sit lift or stand in the elevator queue. Expensive the cabins without myth factor. How difficult is it to insert good lighting and dimmer? Towels and shelves in bathroom are on the wish list with. Absolutely uncontactable wire which is probably the biggest problem in shock! Do not think you can get back something you paid if something goes wrong. Do not think that Stöten wants to find solutions that suits you and them. Ecclesiastical, moral and empathy are unknown concepts in the Stöten.

Question! Why is there no one from Stötens ledning, information manager or other staff who can respond to the criticism that Stöten as an installation is about to expire. Insufficient pistons, substandard three-chair lifts are just a few (but so important) things that indicate that the shock is lost to other facilities in Sälen. Sincerely: Guest since many years but probably not for so long.

I was in Stöten week 5 and got a little disappointed.
Snow was definitely no shortage. It fell safely 50cm with beautiful snow during the week and most of it was open.
Unfortunately, you did not manage to take care of the snow that came. It was only pissed in the evenings and the decimetre of snow that came during the night was left untouched. There is certainly a lot of powder hunters up there with the tip and enjoy this (congratulations) but already in the morning every pistol has become a puck piste.

The trestolsliften in 1970 is a joke. When will they replace it? It takes 15 minutes to get to the top.

After skiing was okay but why is it only 40 minutes a day?

Awesome good ski resort! Has a pair of really good black backs, and a versatility with many lighter slopes. No long lift queues directly. All they have to do is replace the long-sleeved trailer and an old-fashioned 3-chair that's both slow and ... a 3-chair. Hi, 2000's, replace it with a 6-pole album!

Badly good skiing, that's the way they say, the best skiing in Sälen. Like.

We came home from Stöten on Sunday after a week's holiday there. We have brought a week there for many years! Is the Näcken, Älvan, Parallellen and World Cup the back open it's superb there. But this year, Näcken, Älvan and Parallellen were not open. The snow cannons were not running in Parallel and not on the top of Näcken and the river before the end of the week, the temperature was between -10 and -15. Then you ask the question why do not they run the snow cannons ???? In the Funpark they went to full! "Sälens bästa skidåkning", I agree with the above mentioned slopes are open. Even if you choose to go quite early this season, I think there should be more of the really good slopes open. Now it's a good thing to separate from year to year.
We always live in Stöten Mitt and it is a good accommodation, ski in / out.

The shock has made Sälen's best and longest backs. There is something for everyone, both difficult and easier backs. tex Näcken, Älvan, World Cup, Mormor Störtløpp m.m. Nice staff and great service. Waterfall is nice, with good temperature in the pool. The ski rental is great with nice staff, as well as the front desk.
At the Brasserie you can eat very good evening meals and an affordable lunch buffet during the day.
A big minus in our eyes is the lifts at Soltorget, the chairlift feels old and it takes at least 20 minutes to the top. The anchorage against the grandmother's grandmother is also terrible. If it were not for this, Stöten had been awarded top marks.
Warmly recommend accommodation at Stöten Mitt if you are a family, you are a bigger company, so there are great cottages in Solbacken all. Pistbyn at the World Cup hill, all close to the slopes.

The shocks did not live up to our expectations!
We came home from Stöten yesterday, celebrating New Year there. We are very disappointed.

-Poor organization in lift queues.
-No mood at all, not even music or organized activities were heard. The shock was full, it rained and all our visitors were haunted because only a few pistes were running.
-Gamla lifts (3-chairlift is a joke ready for museum) with a high maintenance needs. Missing a lot of hangouts.
-Internal amount of shutdown. Unclear why ...
-Milk ends in the store throughout the week!
The snow cannon at the Näck was not running when it was possible to drive the snow cannons. Why?

Friendly staff.

Do not go to Stöten, choose much better elsewhere in Sälen. For the same money, you get a different commitment and quality. Next year, Lindvallen will be back!

Accommodation at Stöd mitt is recommended for the good apartment with ski in / out. The slopes of different degrees of difficulty are the cannon. The chair chair at Soltorget is unfortunately very slow and should be replaced. It is easy to get between the lighter slopes and the steep slopes which I appreciate. The shock has the best skiing in the seal!
