Best in the country

I usually stay in Åre at least once a year, have an affair relatives and friends.

Going to week 9 and hoping for a new snow, Åre beats everything in Sweden. Been in Åre twice this season and are not dissatisfied. The ravines are amazing after dump.

Sweden's best skiing, undoubtedly, also Sweden's most accessible, just climb on the train, sleep and sleep, you're late, right up to the lifts open! This year, the third year was on the run with the whole family in its own caravan, next year, it becomes a sleeper car!

Take the train to Åre! How smoothly. Step on the train in the evening, have a nice dinner and sleep in a comfortable bed. Wake up, have breakfast and get off the train. Check in, tighten your pants and ski and have a fun day before you, rested and spicy. So instead of spending money on a hotel night in Åre, put them on the trip and get both. Has both flights to Östersund and has taken the train several times over the years. The train wins every day, with a good environmental conscience.

Best place in Sweden without a doubt. The closest you can get the alps without going to the alps.

Too little hills and too many old lifts from the 70's !!!! Build out the skut / high zone, so we get new and better driving opportunities! Then always cool weather (from the Norwegian coast) when I'm there!

Large and complete with a cozy city. Should you cheat over something is that the price level is very high, at least under the law.

Best place, a little "alp" feeling in Sweden

The only smolken:
Åre always finds out of a hurry to not open the high zone during the earliest weeks. Always ice creams on the cabin, but nobody works to knock it off (it seems to infect even the Tväråvalvift, so it's also closed). If the reason is that they want to keep on the snow until v. 9, or if they think there are too few people to keep that part open - do not you know? BUT, do not pay for it! Some of the lift passes back, if the top is not open at least 5 days would be more fair. Or how does Skistar?
