Ski heart in Sweden!

Åre is great! Go to your ass!

A shorter point summary of my views of Åre Comemr army:

+ Choose expanded system
+ A lot of slopes and lifts
+ Ok fall height if the lifts go all the way up
+ Good party
+ Many good shops in the village
+ Seen good park if you're jumping

- Good people
- A lot of people
- Isiga slopes
- Strong transport strings
- Expensive
- Little offpiste and enter the top tours to hurry before
- Could have been better thought through the placement of lifts

Summary: either you like Åre or you do not. It is often sick of a lot of people in the elevator queue. The disadvantages are considerably higher than one. Dry people who need to lead and think they are living the hill. Most often ice-cold and windy, which results in the lifts up the top of the rods.

Åre is no stare I go to before skiing. This is what I'm going to do. before having a week of mkt. festive and a little ride on the days before it's gone. A little like a holiday in the winter ...
 

Unfortunately...
After trying out Scandinavia's best system (clearly!), Just realize: skip Norway and Sweden! Put the money on traveling to the alps.

Here is my honest review of Åre:

positively:
- Good (in Scandinavian dimensions) lift system. Modern and effective.
- Good slopes
- nice and professional staff
- nice good nightlife


negative:
- expensive as shame!
- Stubborn atmosphere in the village, everything is about showing how much jacks you have
- overexploited: advertising and banners for different companies across the damn mountain
- average fall height (compared to the Alps)
- cold as a fan, even in April!
- high zone closed almost evenly due to hard winds
- almost always blows nails in the other zone
"Big parts of the system are boring to go in, if you are a middle-aged or advanced rider. Only the Åre part (and especially the high zone, which is unfortunately always closed!) Is interesting, Björnen and Duved are flat like a pancake.

Scandinavian mountains are nice to walk in, as well as to cross-country skiing, that's it. Do not learn to go back.

GOOD!!! Has a good track and a lot of rails and jumps.
The bad thing is that there will be a lot of people and that the slopes get soggy.
It's going to be fun when it's snowing and it's a lot of people.
It's bad that the lift queues get so long, but it goes quite fast.
One thing that's bad is that it's so expensive with a lift card.
Good is that it's big and you think you should not find the first time you're there but it's okay because it's good with signs.
I think it's a pretty good offpiste.
It's good that there's a 8 chairlift so you get up faster because you can fill more people in the elevator.

So then it was done ... my first weekend in Åre ... how do you summarize? Yes, unfortunately, the best fit word is OVERRECTED.
How can people pay those money for a lift card when standing in a lift queue than skiing?

When we arrived in the morning, it took an hour before getting up on the boat. Before you even went for the first time ... Whether you were in Duved or against the Tottlift, you did not let it go too much but you pay well to go on the whole system ???

So expensive, hilly and hilly backs and extreme queues make me choose other places before Åre .... definitely !!

Tjaba! Åre is a very good ski (snowboard) place.
+ Good pistachio slopes
+ Varying both professionals and beginners can go ahead and face challenges
+ låååånga slopes (to be in Sweden)

You may find other pillows scratch but otherwise the most piss according to me. But you can do the way you want. I did not look so much after it so if you want to look then go for it there is probably a good deal
if you look for a while. You are very good according to me.

Been in Åre a few times and like the most ..
The backs are long and in a very good condition a bit up the mountain. However, it is very hot and cold in the slopes at Vm6 and Vm8 but if the first rides are gorgeous. Eastern ravine is cruel after snowfall in the mornings. But they come after a lot of people after a while.
Torn in the slopes and the lift queues pull down a bit on the score.

Oddly, upright, no offpiste if you do not get there a weekend in the middle and lucky it's snowing (1 chance in the million), lame queues. In short, over-advertised.

Something for beginners and families with children who really do not seek offpiste.

Based on several Christmas holidays and a couple of holies up there ....

Wait ... Åre is a nice place to go there usually at least once a year and the best thing about me is all people who work in stores and other ones really like Gothenburg. The best thing I know is all the nice slopes and hop / rails you can find here and there
